This place is strictly business. You pay for your spot and dates online. Then you come, check in, leave your keys with them, and then take the shuttle to the airport. You won't get a warm and fuzzy welcome committee greeting you at the entrance. It's straight up check-in and go type of establishment, which is fine as long as you don't expect a lot of interaction. When you come back from your trip, make sure you arrive at the area for pickup before calling vip parking. They will ask you for the terminal, and you must know it, so they can tell the driver to come pick you up. You will also be asked for your parking ticket number. This is so they can find your car and guide you to it when you arrive. Remember, you won't get the warm and fuzzy feels with their customer service, especially on the phone. However, they will do their job and pick you up from the airport, and then drop you off. When you arrive, you will need to present your parking ticket number to the clerk. Once he verifies it, you will be guided to your car. I paid for VIP but that only took place at the beginning of the visit. Once I got back, I had to go get my own car. By the way, the shuttle driver was super nice and helpful. I tipped him when he dropped me off at the airport. I tried to get some change at the establishment to tip the driver for driving me back but they didn't have enough cash. So, if you want to tip anybody, make sure you have the exact change. I've done airport parking for years but never chose to come here because of how far this was from the airport. Now I think that this distance is actually great. Having the shuttle driver drive through that nasty airport traffic, having my car ready for me at the office, and being able to get in my car and be so close to my freeway on-ramp was sooo nice. The ease. You get there. Drop your keys. Take a photo of your ticket. Wait for the shuttle. You get back. Call them after your in the red pick up area on the second floor. Tell them your terminal and the make and model of your car along with your ticket number. Wait. And the nice shuttle driver picks you up and your car is waiting for you at the office. Everyone was nice here, especially the shuttle drivers. I hated that I didn't have change to tip the first driver. My apologies. This place is nothing fancy but try it for yourself so you can feel what it's like here. Though the shuttle waits can be long (mine wasn't this first time), hold tight. I have stayed at VIP parking for years since they first opened. This is my go to place for parking at LAX. The drivers are quick and it's the best value. Everyone is very nice and you can book directly on their website. They only have one bus so if you get there at the wrong time you could be waiting for a while. I've only had one issue but I did show up late. Most of the time it's very quick. A little hard to find the first time but once you find it once, it's easy. I am literally on the way now to LAX to park at VIP now. I have never had any car I brought there damaged in any way nor has anything been stolen from my over 10 times I have parked here. read more

You have to take a bit of a winding route to get to this place , but they have great, clear signage that makes it easy to find them Shuttle service was good and fairly prompt. I got my car quickly upon returning. And they are honest. I accidentally left my bag with my laptop in the shuttle bus and didn't realize it until I got home. I called and they had it. They assured me they would hold it in a secure location until I could pick it up. The next day a friend picked up the laptop for me. For security, they asked for the claim ticket number and for my name. They were extremely helpful in getting my laptop back to me. We have used this service twice and will not come back. The good stuff is: The location is easy to get to, the rates are decent (booked through Airport Parking Reservations), and the turn-in process is easy and straightforward. Now for the terrible stuff: Today, upon landing at LAX and going to the pick-up spot for shuttles, I spent about 10 minutes and multiple phone calls trying to get through to the company to arrange for my pickup. The calls just went to voicemail. I persisted and finally got somebody who could barely be heard, barely understood, and refused to give me any idea of when we would be picked up. In fact, we waited close to 30 minutes for our pickup, and the LAX traffic was fairly light. Every other hotel and parking service shuttle went by at least twice in that time. Not recommended for anyone who likes to be treated in a professional and businesslike manner, with due respect paid to the customer's time. read more

Car was damaged! I saw the handful of bad reviews with damaged cars and thought they were flukes, and made a note to check our car before we left the lot so we wouldn't get F'ed. When we returned after a 5-day trip our car was ready for us, and the bumper was pushed in with the fog light damaged. Gabbie, the receptionist, came outside to deny that anything had happened, without asking any questions or investigating at all. She started with "this doesn't happen here because we have security cameras," then changed to "there would be color or paint where the car hit yours." When I demanded to look at the security videos, she said I would need to call Mike who is there on Wednesdays or Thursdays. I said today is Thursday... Umm... She gave me "Mike's" email and phone number, which is the same number you call for the shuttle, and the info email address for the business. Useless. She said they could look at the video to see if the car was damaged when we arrived, and then they'll call me. We filed a police report. We haven't heard from them. This garage is obviously too crowded for the employees to safely valet the vehicles. Even with my photos of the car before and after, I can only assume that this will be an insurance claim for me to deal with and I'll never hear from Mike or anyone else at VIP. I'll update this review if I hear from them. This sucks. read more

Update: they changed their mind and said they will not pay for the windshield, but they will refund our parking fee. We thought that was wrong, but since we have no time to deal with their bs, we decided to take the refund and forget it. They never refunded our money for the parking itself either. We paid $420 for the windshield, and had to spend 1 month wo air conditioning bc the parts took forever to come. Honestly, I have no idea how they get any good reviews. Aside from the location and the not so friendly lady working the front desk, my experience wasn't bad with my check-in and drop off at the terminal. On the way back from my trip, I called VIP to let them know my flight was 4 hours delayed and that I may be running short on time to get my car. They were very informative on instructions of what to do and where to find the shuttle (3rd level) and to call when you arrive. Huge props to the shuttle driver for his gracious gesture allowing a little time to grab my luggage so that I didn't have to return for it. You get what you pay for I guess. The lot is fine, but the driver was very unclear on where to pick us up and was frustrated at us trying to clarify and find him. Him saying "go to the red sign" was unhelpful to say the least, as we are trying to lead him to give terminal # or airline sign... After he picked us up, he drove so recklessly and obviously didn't know we spoke Spanish as he trash talked us the whole drive. I am not sure if the guy could not understand me or was just ignorant. He charge me a late fee and when I went to show him on my phone there was a mistake and been fixed but he just keep on pointing to there new sign that over stays are $ 27.95 per day. We booked a reservation to park our car at this lot when flying out of LAX, using airportparkingreservations.com. Everything was very smooth and they were extremely well priced. Nothing came close to matching them. Service was excellent. The parking lot looks a little sketchy in an odd location but it seemed secure. When I drove up I was a little worried about how this experience would turn out, but everything went very smooth and it could not have gone any better. I paid for a reservation to park my car at this location for this morning. I got to the location just before 5am and the gate was closed with a sign saying they open at 5am. I waited and no employees showed up. I called the phone number posted on the entrance gate and nobody answered with message saying mailbox is full with no way of leaving a message. I called SEVERAL times without any success. I waited till 5:30 and nobody showed up! I had to find another parking facility and barely made it on my flight just before they closed the doors. This horrible service forced me to run around LAX to catch my flight. This business is absolutely UNRELIABLE and CANNOT BE DEPENDED ON.
