I stopped by the food truck on a Friday (today), and it was 3:00 pm. The problem was that the tortas were totally wet all the way through. They also had no avocado and the meat was super tough and stringy. There was way too much mayo and little else. This $50 meal was absolutely not worth it. There was a different crew today than we have had before and I guess they didn't care about what they were sending out the window. It will be a cold day in hell before I go back. They lost my business. It was not just this one time either. Things have been going downhill over the last few months, though I always made an excuse for them. Today, they finally did their worst. Nope, I will not be giving them any more of my money. There are many other good tortas to be had in our town.

We brought our other family members here with us this trip and everyone really enjoyed their meals and the service. The service is impeccable, they definitely provide you with that southern hospitality and welcoming spirit. The inside is very clean with plenty of seating and it's very tastefully decorated. The hot dogs are the bomb, I played it safe this time and went with two dogs with mustard on onion and sauerkraut, and the buns are extremely fresh and hotdog are full of flavor. That's what makes this place so special...... The shoestring french fries are done to perfection. They're not greasy and are very nice and crisp and well prepared. The buffalo chicken salad was done to perfection, and it was full of flavor and tasted amazing. This is one of the better cheesesteaks in the area we feel, a very generous amount of meat and cheese on a fresh several. You will not be disappointed with it for sure. I had the opportunity to meet the owner again and he is such a genuine individual, you can tell he puts his heart and soul into this restaurant and guess what ? They are in a process of opening another location some more people can enjoy their food and their vast way of hotdog selections !!!!! We did have the opportunity to try the peanut butter and jelly hotdog, which the owner brought over to us to try and let's just say we are sold on it . It has such a great flavor and is a very unique combination and you can not go wrong with it. Thank you for letting us give that a try. It was really really good. So in a nutshell, we highly recommend Dog Slingers We look forward to our next visit to this area and stopping here for lunch or dinner thank you so much for providing such amazing food and the creative side of hotdogs! Almost forgot they do breakfast sandwiches in different breakfasts which from looking at the menu are well were stopping for !!
