We ordered the skirt steak/flank steak/pork with Chimichurri/oxtail and had to get second servings. Ochobcn is a small local neighborhood Argentinian restaurant and worth every penny. The server was truly the star of the show. He took the time to chat with us and truly looked like he loved what he was doing.

3rd try is the charm for sure! Had steak at 2 other tapas restaurants and was not impressed with…read morethe quality but had high hopes as this space received so many great reviews. We arrived shortly after opening and there were a few non reserved tables so we promptly snagged a table in the back. The space is small but charming. I would highly recommend making reservations because you do not want to miss this experience. We ordered several dishes and as each one was brought to the table it was evident from plating and scent alone that we were going to be satisfied. Satisfied is not generally what I strive for when dining out on vacation. I want to be transported to the culture and flavor profiles through food. Dinner here was incredible from the attentive but non pretentious service to the sheer quality and preparation of the food. A great date night spot while visiting Barcelona! They prepare your steak how you ask for it and serve it by portions of 100grams. You order the weight you want. Yes, it was very nice to meat you we also ordered the stuffed potato, gnocci, fried provolone and croquette. All solid choices and would absolutely order again.

We were tired and didn't want to look around too much for food, so we picked this out of 4 eateries…read morethat were next to each other to give it a try since it's menu had the most varieties of food comparing to the other 3 restaurants nearby. We didn't want to sit outside due to the smokers who were sitting in the outdoor dining area, and there were only a few tables inside so fortunately there weren't as many people sitting inside as there were outside. After we sat down it took us awhile before we ordered since there were so many items on the menu that we wanted to try but we didn't want to over-order and waste food. We finally decided on 2 tapas and 2 main course items. The chorizo with cider was good, although how they came out did not look exactly like how they appeared on the photo in the menu. The beef kidneys were good and interesting as I have never seen that on menus back home, which was why I decided to try this tapa dish instead of the cockles and razor clams that I would prefer. After all we are in Spain so we should try something local and unique instead of something that we could get at home. The steak frites with mushroom sauce was good. The paella could have been better if the chef were gentle on that salt shaker as it was too salty for my taste. That was the only dish that came out saltier than I would like, so stay away from the paella if you don't like too much salt in your food.

She recommended the toast with ham and brie and con tomate (delicious). Also ate the egg and potato tortilla and chciken and ham croquettes and a glass of roijo.

Gorgeous Cave-Like setting right in the heart of The Gothic Quarter. For food we got: - both Peach and Red Sangria's - maybe the best in Spain. 15 Euros so not cheap - Pan Con Tomate - first time having this dish -- great, - Iberian "Pluma" Acorn Fed Pork - so tender and amazing! - Cod (Bacalao) - perfectly baked I must give a shout out to our amazing waiter LUCAS who spoke excellent english and gave some perfect recommendations. We got here at 7:30 and it was quiet -- but quickly filled up and was totally full by 8:30. It's more expensive than most restaurants but for that you get quality service, superb food, linen napkins, and soft jazz music. We wanted to come again the next night but it was totally booked! Trip Advisor rates this as #57 (as of May 2026) but I think it should be in the top 10. Book a table early guys -- this restaurant will not disappoint you!

A far cry from the Sangria served in tourist spots, this is the real deal. BF loved the Island Sangria. Highly recommend Pluma Iberica for pork eaters. Served with a delicious peanut sauce. Lucas took excellent care of us. First class waiter. The restaurant is in what appears to be a cave. Delightful atmosphere. Very classy with linen napkins, etc. A little more expensive than some other local restaurants but worth it. Outstanding value. Be sure to reserve a table in advance.
