Lots of small groups to make friends in. I have a six year old and a three year old. Their children's services are AMAZING! The kids Pastor is phenomenal. We have used their Adventure Station daycare in the past. It's really good. My daughter attends the new STEAM academy they have, and it's such a high end education opportunity for her. This church has been their for me in every season of my life. Even when I was at my lowest, this church cared for me. It's a good church.

Kindergarten children are forced to take long naps, leaving them wide-awake at any normal bedtime. There is constant pressure to join the congregation, including holiday "programs" in which parents are required to attend services without their children. They close at the slightest sign of bad weather. Look elsewhere for childcare.

Rawls Hall! This…read morepicture posted here is indeed part of Krannert School of Management, but is the lovely Jerry S. RAWLS HALL building exactly next door to the Krannert Building. I did nearly all of my graduate classes right here and the building is 4 stories inside and beautiful. The second floor has a coffee/deli shop. Then, if you reaully need a quick cheap and easy drink, you can walk right next door to Harry's on your lunch break. Do NOT get drunk at lunch. We are business students.... Wait until after class. *wink* Oh the memories! Rawls Hall is equipped with the best classrooms I have had in my entire educational career and among all my degrees. The chairs are all comfy rockers and can be raised and lowered. This is silly, but hugely important for ergonomics and typing on your laptop sometimes notes for up to 8 hours a day! There are electric plugs and internet outlets for each seat so you always have a charged laptop and internet access if you are having connection problems with your Purdue account at that time. There is a parking garage right behind here and Harry's Right beside it. It's a lovely building and I spent so much time there I am blessed. I do wish for more heat, sometimes I swear I wanted to bring a Snuggie to business school, but that doesn't look too professional!

Visited in the evening. Nature Center was closed, but we visited the Celery Bog trails. Nice easy…read morewalk, well-maintained trails (unpaved). A little muddy but not bad. Beautiful, quiet lake. Free parking in paved lot. Really nice.
