Vinnie's wife is beyond rude and out for money. Took my car there to get tires changed and aligned, and an exhaust fixed then safety.. gave Vinnie 1500$. We asked Vinnie how much more it would cost and he said not much more then the 1500.. at the end we need up with a 4800$ bill and after we picked it up it was pulling really bad and clinking loud my head lights also keep flicking on and off I'll be taking it to another shop. 0 from me read more

My son recently bought his first car, went to the Woodlawn location for an oil change, when it came time to pay they added an extra $45 to his bill for changing a headlight that he didn't ask for, they said his headlight was out and by law they couldn't let him drive without one. Had they asked first he would have told them he didn't need it because we just ordered LEDs that were being installed that afternoon. They were trying to force him to paying for something he didnt ask for and were very rude about it. he stood his ground and made them take out the bulb and charge what he initially came for. Do they really need an extra $20-30 so bad that they mislead a young kid on a limited budget. lesson learned and we will not be returning. read more

My car needed a new starter and they were able to get it back to me within the day! They were friendly and helpful when I was speaking to them on the phone. I took a car here to be certified and there was an extra fee for "bushings." ($500+) Knowing little about bushings I agreed to pay for this as the car would become my young son's car needed for travel to work and school. It was his first car. 1 week later and very little driving, my son was injured and unable to drive the car. I noticed oil in our driveway and took it for its first oil change. My mechanic of 30 yrs + said the car should never have been certified and it was negligent of Vinnies to do this. The car needed a new catalytic convertor and had a hole in it that was totally visible to the naked eye. This would have been seen easily upon inspection and given the car was literally driven only 28 kms since purchase, the hole was definitely there. I went back to speak to them at the urging of my mechanic, while the car was on hoist at my mechanic. The woman I spoke to (Kim) was rude, aggressive and disinterested in this information. I asked that they at least meet in the middle on this as it was still under the 32 days of certification. The part alone was $700. Everything went downhill from there. I have since spoken to consumer protection agency and filed complaints with Ministry of Transportation as well, but first I had written Vinnies a letter... with zero reply. I have called as well and asked them to email me, but of course they are burying their heads in the sand. My 17 yr old son requires surgery for his injury which is still on hold and so he is physically unable to work to pay off 1. this bill and 2. owning the car bills/gas etc. We had to finally sell the car (after only 4 mos) as is, and took a massive loss on this for my son. I would never have bought the car with an additional cost of$1200 (plus bushings) if they had told the TRUTH. It is also not safe. As a business, they should use a little PR and if they make a mistake, own it, and at least compromise. I believe they are out to get as much money out of people as possible, and do not care one bit about anyone but themselves. If this were their young son or daughter they would want some form of honesty and willingness to compromise. When telling others my story verbally, I hear a lot of agreements and other similar stories. I would RUN, not walk,.... away from this business. zero stars. Took it in for an alignment after some front end work was done... I got my truck back WORSE than when it went it. Basically scammed out of $90 and the hour I waited while they did it. I also got it back with hand prints all over my door... Everyone looks pissed off and the staff at the counter are rude and unknowledgeable (I sat there listening to the woman at the counter tell someone who came in for a brake job needed I forget what replaced and it would be hundreds of dollars, as the customer got angry because all they wanted was a brake job, the woman didn't know what the hell she was talking about and couldn't even explain why the part needed replaced or what the part was for). read more
