Vini & Spiriti is a small wine bar, wine shop, and restaurant located a few blocks away from the Bergamo train station. The store has a large selection of wines and spirits. They have appetizer plates with local cheese and meats. I really wanted to do a wine flight of local wines to learn and compare different types of wine from the Lombardy and Piedmont wine regions. I was told, however, they didn't offer this type of tasting. I also wanted to try a Franciacorta but I was told they did not sell it by the glass. Vini e spiriti is a small vine bar and eatery located close to the main station. The street is rather busy but the outdoor seating is surrounded by bushes which makes it more cozy than anticipated. The waiter found a delicious wine to us and we were happily surprised when the bill came. 10 Euros for two glasses of wine and sparkled water. read more
