The main church here is also very nice and serves american as well as spanish parishioners. When I went to church here years ago my high school teacher Father Pala was giving the mass. He has passed away as it was a long time ago. This church is not hard to find. It is located in a neighborhood and not on any main streets so I guess you could call this a neighborhood catholic church. On friday I went to a mass for my friend and ex boyfriend louis. Its terrible to say goodbye to someone so young. He was 49. I am glad his family chose St Vincent to use for his memorial mass.

My grandson Vinny was baptized at St. Vincent's in 2002. As he grew, he attended CCD classes & made…read morehis first holy communion here as well. Vinny was named after St Vincent. Our family were faithful members of this church for many years, while living in Margate. Once we moved quite a distance away, we continued to attend mass here at times. Sadly, Vinny died on June 29, 2017 in a horrible accident. Next Saturday June 29, 2019 we will celebrate his life at this same church. After mass we will have the release of 14 white doves, representing his age when he died. We are very grateful to Father to allow us to do this very special celebration for a boy who is loved and missed by all who knew him so very much. Vinny was, and is, a very wonderful young man. First Church is a Methodist church that was founded in January 1969 when ten people formed the…read moreCrocker Memorial Methodist Church which was the first church to be founded in the a City of Coral Springs which at that time was only seven years old. Through the years the church has grown and this year in 2019 was the church's 50th anniversary. I visited the church to attend their Bethlehem Revisited event. This is the 27th year the church has put on the historical experience. They recreate the city of Bethlehem 2,000 years ago and you walk around on the night Jesus is born. The city is walked and has authentic period marketplaces. You can interact with the shop owners, Roman soldiers, musicians, shepherds, and storytellers. The highlight of the event is the end where you come to the living nativity with Mary, Joseph, baby, live animals, and angels. The event is amazing and completely free. Other upcoming church events include Christmas Caroling on December 22 and Christmas Eve service at 5 PM on December 24th. I loved my visit to this church. Bethlehem Revisted is one of the most popular Christmas events in this area and always crowded. They do a wonderful job celebrating the birth of Jesus.

The worship is beautiful. The teaching is always spot on! What is so great about the services is that Calvary teaches the Bible verse by verse. They don't skip parts or do any watered down themed stuff. It's the truth in love and there is plenty of resources and support if you need help with anything. All of the volunteers are so nice and will always greet you with a smile. It's a very large church, but don't let that scare you. Get involved! Get connected! Join and volunteer! Find a group. Join a Bible study and a class. Reach out to the connect center. When you do, that's when it feels a lot smaller and you will start recognizing faces and feeling that sense of community. Don't just come go. Get connected and involved! Why not give it try? If you are reading this review and curious about this church, just come! There are services every Saturday at 6pm and Sunday at 9 and 11am.
