Mr. Lowe has the responsibility of watching over my sister's estate following the death of her…read morehusband approximately 9 years ago. The deceased left a very craftily worded and executed, by Mr. Lowe, a family trust whose purpose was to ease my sister's transition into a single life with her disability. I am her only sibling, only next of kin other than my children and grand children. Mr. Lowe's purpose was to make sure that her assets that were suppose to go to her side of the family were protected and executed when the time came and to administer payments from her assets to pay a costly care bill from Fox Run in Novi, MI. That's another horror story for another time. As the only brother and only next next of kin you would think I would be included in most of the activities to make sure that my sister's care is up to the standards required. There are people watching over the process but they aren't family and I do want as much say as non family. Seems like a reasonable request, right? No! When you aren't an attorney and have never been through something like this especially when the deceased family are working very hard with the help of an friend of my sister's to keep all assets still in the trust for themselves upon my sister death. Yeah, I know, you got a guy that can make this go away in a hurry to which I say bullshit. I have been through 4 attorneys and accomplished almost nothing while spending a fair amount of my retirement saving on some pretty useless work by some highly recommended attorneys. Mr. Lowe has made every effort to avoid dealing with me. He had a 10 minute meeting with me after the death of my sister's husband. At the end of the meeting, he concluded, I wasn't to be trusted and he just plain didn't like me. His words, not mine. I have over 35 years as an engineer and executive at oem's and tier 1's. I had to jump through a few hoops to get this far and the 10 minute opinion to the opposite is suspicious. Don't ja think? Mr. Lowe is not working for the people that stand to get proceeds from a trust that has anybody's name other than that of the originator and his attorney.

The entire process took almost a year, which wasn't his fault. That is just how this sort of stuff goes. My issue was his billing. You sign papers acknowledging his fees and it happens to say those fees are only valid for so many months. After that, he raises his fees and doesn't even tell you until you are stuck with the bill. So, the bottom line is I don't like when there are shady business practices involved. You need to let people know when you jack up your rates.

HENSON who told me that Dan now email dan@greenefarms.org which I have a few times with no response and so I got the email with the attorney address eventually from dan to mail it to ...strange I think..... I then speak to him by the way his name is Paul and he states I now owe attorneys fees and a 52.oo search fee which is odd being I don't know why you have to search for me when you know where I live... any how... total is 767.32... it is dated July 17 2014 and I have 30 days and I will have a lean after that date if I have any questions please call.... so I call we chat he states States that is probably why they got rid of the last person anyways anyways and we move on and he emails me my bill also the preceding bill today is August 13th I leave my office to go make a payment to him by check for the total of 767.32 which he did not want to receive because he wanted me to pay him because he talk to me on the phone I told him that I was not over my 30 days I had three more days to go so I made it to my 30 days and in his letter if he pulled it out it states that if I had any questions that I could call it in that state that I would be charged to talk to him he then said fine I'll take your check I will not be bothered with this and that I was paid in full this is shameful he should be ashamed of himself !

It was quite frustrating. At first, he seemed like a decent guy who comes off as very knowlegeable. I am an educated person with two graduate degrees so I can usually tell these things. My husband is equally educated and a successful business man. He totally fooled us. In the end, we were so disappointed in what we got for our money and how long it took.
