I can't believe I am the first to review, but glad to break the ice…read more I've been through a few bookkeeper/Quickbooks specialists, and through no fault of theirs, they just could not help me the way I needed to be helped. As a result my books were a mess and tax-time was a nightmare. Carla instantly "got" that I wasn't ever going to be organized the way most people are organized, and helped me work out a few simple systems that even a creative type like me can live with. She's also the first to really wrap her head around what is going on with my quirky business on a day-to-day basis. She's methodical, prompt, focused, and professional, but at the same time curious and extremely flexible and willing to adapt to how I work. I really, really REALLY appreciate that. We meet monthly, go over the books, and I actually enjoy the process, whereas before (and I am not exaggerating) I would have rather had a root-canal. Seriously. Also, I no longer dread tax-time (well, I do... but a lot less) and have completely released all of my bookkeeping-based anxiety. Ahh!

I can not sing the praises of the team at Savvy Tax & Bookkeeping highly enough!!!…read more I am new to the California area, and came to them in 2020 just days before needing an extension filed for 2019, with 4 years of unpaid taxes to file from multiple states, multiple W2's, and multiple 401k and other tax issues to work through. I was highly stressed about my failure to process my taxes over the past years, and Zdenka was so reassuring and professional, that I knew I was in good hands, and that she'd help me do whatever it took to sort everything out. The best part was that this was during Covid19, and I was able to sort out everything from the comfort of my own home, and they were able to assist me through video call, phone calls, and emails. They helped me create a master list of all the documents I would need to collect in order to prepare the taxes. And I was able to sign all of my documentation electronically, and everything was handled perfectly! Besides the digital copies, they even mailed a completed BINDED folder presentation of each tax return including a summary of my taxes and refund amount for each year! I am definitely working with them again for the 2020 tax season! Thanks guys!
