Rue St. Catherine is a walking pedestrian street in Bordeaux flanked by shops, cafes, and…read moreinternational brand stores. It is so crowded on Saturdays and Sundays that the stroll is slow and elbow to elbow. Hang on to your purses. Evidently the French come from many other regions to shop and visit on this street. I did buy a great scarf that I treasure.
Crowds aren't my thing, so this was a once was enough experience.
