When we arrived, they had our reservation at the place was so nice. They even had live music at one point but not loud very nice music. They had a great selection of drinks and wine so you couldn't go wrong there. We got a variety of plates. I got the steak which was phenomenal. It literally was like butter. My aunt got the mole and I have to say that was delicious. We also actually started with a beat and goat fluff cheese, which was amazing. Definitely must have. We also got a shrimp taco, which was phenomenal. For a drink I got a carajillo which is one of my favorite things to drink when I'm in Mexico. They have a little juice bar, a small restaurant with vegan and vegetarian options, a grocery section with health/ nutritional items, and a fridge behind the checkout that has really great soy, setan, and amaranth meat alternatives. The best part about trigo verde is it's very affordable!! I found some of their nutritional items (ex. Nutritional yeast) to be pricer then other naturalistas in the area. Their fresh food, however, is very affordable. I come just for their fridge of fresh food items. The hummus and the steak looking fake meat are delicious! Also try the amaranth burger! I hear that on Monday they have comida corrida all vegan (meatless Monday special cheap menu) but I haven't confirmed this yet. Everyone who works here is friendly and knowledgeable. They seem like they actually want to help you and they really care about health, which i haven't seen in the naturalistas I've visited. Also, there is a manager who is sometimes here who speaks perfect English... always a plus. He told me that this is a family business, another plus! The only reason I took off a star was I had a salad here once and it was very bland and boring. It had pasta, garbanzo beans, and somewhat stale lettuce. Nearly everything is in the 30 peso range also, so super cheap. They may ask you "para aqui o para llevar" (for here or to go) which may seem nonsensical for a food truck, but if you say "para aqui" they'll just give it to you on a paper plate to eat there in the park, whereas para llevar means they put it in a bag.

This tacos are not bad, but they're not the great either…read more Every time I've tried going back with my husband it's always really busy, no place to sit down and obviously a long time waiting for your order, so we avoid it and go to a different taco stand. The 1st & only time we had them, we waited for over 30 min for our food, they kept mixing up our order which was pretty simple(4 chorizo & 4 costilla), anyway maybe it was bad luck as we weren't the only people unhappy about their food. The taste I do believe it was average and the service, well I would recommend try them for yourself, like I said maybe it was just a bad day. I will try them again and hopefully I'll change my mind & my review.
