I just did my laundry here and when i went to get my sheets out of the dryer they were stuck in the well of the machine. When i pulled my two sheets out of it, it burnt & ripped my sheets. I told the employee working there and he just put me on the phone with someone who just kept trying to tell me a setting it was supposed to be on... meanwhile i had my sheets on medium temp and it wasnt a massive load either. Also i know how to wash & dry my sheets. They didnt even offer to reimburse me for my sheets that are now ruined because of their broken machine. Or even the $1.75 + $3.50 i paid to wash & dry them. Even more frustrating because I usually go here every week and now i never want to come back here again. If i could give zero stars I would read more

This laundrymat has mold and rust in the dryer and washer machines. Do not come here your clothes will come out smelling nasty and hard. Cheap prices but the price you pay for that is buying a whole new wardrobe and risking your health. For those who have kids with Asthma stay away from this place it's a health hazard for your kids clothes being exposed to these chemicals that latch onto your clothes from these machines. I don't know why this place is still open to the public they should be shut down. read more

The place went back to disgusting. Half the dryers don't work . Mold is back on the washing machines.

Clean and people were friendly big washers and dryers. I actually left my old phone there for about 1-1/2 hrs on the table and no one touched it so that was just cool to know your stuff will be safe there cause I didn't even know I left it lol read more

The no hassle drop off service is the move for this place. Come in, weigh the bag and come back the next day. I've never had an issue and all my laundry has been perfect. Better than I could do it myself. Super affordable too. read more

The owner is a very nice man, but unfortunately nice means nothing when you ruin clothes. We had a baby recently and have brought the clothes in to be washed. The first time there was no issue, the next time the clothes were fried the texture on any clothes/blankets that were once soft were now crispy and hard. We let him know and asked that all the baby clothes be dried on low heat only. The next drop off went well clothes were perfect. The drop off after that same issue, my husband let him know and he said it was his mother and it would happen again. After this I wanted to use a new place but husband has a hard on for this guy for some reason so he took the clothes there again, reminded him that the baby clothes needed low heat. He was assured they would be. When we got the clothes back when we got the clothes back there was no describing the anger that welled up inside me!! My first Easter skirt melted!!, fleece pajamas no longer soft, sweaters with dryer mark spots. I called to complain and he said we dried on low and he's not responsible for damaged clothe. Not sure who I'm more mad at hubby or the establishment. read more

My son just moved into his first apartment and went to wash his clothes at the closest place. Bad decision!! He walked in and the woman there grabbed the bag of clothes out of his hand and threw it-on the scale. He told her he wanted to wash it himself. She was yelling in a different language that he couldn't understand. They tried to perused him to leave his clothes there so they can wash it by pushing him towards the door. He said NO A FEW TIMES !! He finally grabbed his bag of clothes and left. Not a good way to treat your customers by bullying them to leave their clothes so you can make more money!! read more

I Use to live in Babylon and SPARKLE EXPRESS was my ONLY PLACE I would use! ITS THE CLEANLIEST MOST UPDATED LAUNDRY MATTE IVE EVER USED! They take there last wash at 8:30-9pm and open till 11pm which was good BUT Now I'm living in Amityville and I needed a NEW LOCATION TO CALL MY "REGULAR STOP" Ive ALWAYS liked doing laundry late at night.. (Less ppl and no rushing on my part) so I've been to 2 diff 24hr locations only in Babylon and was HORRIFIED BY THE PLACE/ PPL/ AND THE EQUIPMENT! Now I'm in the Amityville area looking for a 24hr location that is relatively cost effective, not scary and Relatively clean. WELL this place is decent, it's 24hrs..CHECK! .... Not many ppl and I've been there all hours of the night and felt very safe..CHECK! ....it's NOT SPARKLY CLEAN but it's not DISGUSTING by any means! There are nice BIG FOLDING TABLES WHICH I CLEAN OFF B4 using everytime I'm there for my clean clothes to only touch a clean surface. There's NO SEATING, other than an old couch by the door which I would never sit on! Another reason why it's better to come here late relates to the limited seating and the space ... Cuz if there's more than 5-7ppl it can feel crowded and especially when ppl bring there children - there's no where for them to sit so they end up running around like mad- which can be really loud & frustrating- but what can u do? They're just kids! There's always at least one staff member there. I have met the one employee @ night. He's a nice, happy man with good intentions... what stinks is he doesn't understand or speak English so I have a hard time communicating with him but even with that barrier we always say hello & he has helped me bring out my laundry to my car a couple of times when it was really late at night..... THAT WAS THE NICEST GESTURES EVER! You can tell he cares for ppls safety there so that made me feel even more comfortable at this location:) Lastly I am ending with a VERY IMPORTANT TIP FOR HERE & ANY OTHER LAUNDRY MATTE: Make sure to clean out the washers b4 using (I use PaperTowel & Windex/surface cleaners) because some ppl have tons of hair & animal dander on there clothes and it gets left behind in the units for the next user clothes that it gets stuck on to ....GROSS!!!!! This mainly occurs in the LARGER UNITS used for bedding or XL loads -so just BEWARE!! read more

Terrible drop off service. Prepare to have to iron everything they wash. Even permanent press. All my clothes that were washed are all wrinkled. Some of the shirts were very light material and can't iron without the iron sticking to the shirt, even on low...Seems like they keep clothes in dryer for a long time, then fold with all wrinkles. This was the second chance I gave this laundromat and the same wrinkles. They are extremely cheap when packaging laundry. The squeeze everything into one large bag, including towels. I had dropped off 33 lbs. that bag was heavy to carry up a flight of stairs when I got home. I'm not a spring chicken. Will have to search for a laundromat that does a good job....Any ideas??? P.S. - we should be able to give a 0 star, 1 is too good for poor quality service. When you say something you get a look of I don't care, and just ok, ok, sorry, sorry and then walks away....They don't care about their customers. read more

This is the worst laundromat I have ever had the misfortune to use. Fist problem. NO ONE speaks English in this place. Second problem prepare to have items routinely stolen. I have had multiple items stolen right out of the dryers. And they don't pay attention or care if people are lurking around taking items from dryers and walking off. Third equipment isn't in proper working order. I can't count how may times a washer or dryer ate my money and its a fight to try and explain it to them so they can reimburse you. read more
