I called my "regular" vet for an urgent appointment for my cat. She declined to provide an…read moreappointment. I called Homestead Animal and was able to get an urgent appointment with Dr. Heidi, the relief vet. Dr. Heidi took care of the cat, provided him with pain relief, antibiotics and lots of fluids. Took the cat in the next day for a repeat of the fluids, and this time some steroids to help with the swelling of the mouth. On Friday it was apparent that the cancer was growing exponentially and I needed to euthanize him. It was the hardest decision ever, but the staff was kind and warm and made the process as easy as possible.

They accomadated "the herd" well. it was also a wonderful surprise to find out upon bringing in 3 or more pets at one time that with exams on each, the vacccinations are complimentary.
