The burger is not the largest one but the meat is good and the bun is more than descent. The ingredients are fresh and you can feel the food is made with love. Or at least I did! The sweet potato fries were delicious! Don't forget to try those ones! The service was good and friendly and quite fast for being on a food truck! I love the colour of the truck and how they have paid attention to little details on it. It's a smart idea and if you ever see it in front of you don't hesitate to try it. It often can be found in the beginning of Aker Brygge. Keep an eye for it!

Even my meat-loving family enjoyed the meal, and I still crave the dumpling soup I had there. Norwegian restaurants have always been lovely when I request what I imagine are very strange changes to meals, but it is really nice to be able to walk into a place and have the option of anything on the menu. The broth was very flavorful and had just the right amount of spiciness to it. My entree was the Happy Tofu which was very filling and also tasty. The only reason why it got 4 stars instead of 5 is because service was a bit lacking. There was only 2 other patrons in the restaurant at the time and no one was at the front desk; no one came out to greet us until about ten solid minutes later when the delivery guy returned and had to flag someone from the kitchen. I know 10 minutes isn't a lot in the grand scheme of things but it does feel like a long time when you're hungry. Other than that, food was great!

We split a large Oreo milkshake and 'starter to share' order of chicken strips. The milkshake was a lot (almost two glasses worth), was super creamy and tasted amazing. The chicken starter came with 5 large strips- quite a lot for a starter! They were crispy and tender- great with the honey mustard sauce (which was definitely one of the best HM sauces I've tasted in Oslo). The atmosphere was perfect- a fun 'diner' theme indoors complete with a counter (plus good music), big windows and a nice seating area outside. You also don't notice the bustle from the street at all. Though we didn't have a burger the menu looked really, really good and the prices were a lot lower than other places up the street in Grunerløkka. The servers were also really nice and kind of playful- it was fun and they seemed to like working there. We were really pleased and are planning to come back for a full dinner this weekend!

Then again, simply being in Norway eased me back into borderline respectable exercising routine again. Compared to Rema 1000 and Kiwi-pris nearby, this supermarket wins in size. It's around the same size as the Walgreens by the Downtown Berkeley BART Station. An entire wall is lined with fresh meats, fish, and deli next to perpendicular rows of frozen foods. There are plenty of sauces and condiments to make ethnic foods (since the first things my mother and I hunted down was soy sauce and rice). I tended to come here for bread but elsewhere for dairy based on price. Of course, all their products are great quality. The selection of BAKING ingredients in Scandinavia makes me weak at the knees. God no, I speak not of the sugary, extraneous sprinkles or toppings, but the sheer variety of baking flours that makes ICA the local mother of baking if you're into solid, heavy, flavourful breads. Why can't Trader Joe's sell 10 different types of wheat/rye flour? Oh yeah, this place is tucked into Norway's national football (soccer) stadium- that's like tucking a supermarket into Rose Bowl, Pasadena! Not too bad. Don't be like me and forget to do your shopping until Sunday- everything's closed. One day I will wake up and find ICA down my street. #ibelieve
