You can order food/drinks straight from the monitor in your karaoke room. Bose sound system was great for acoustics. There was smoked salmon in it, which was a pleasant surprise. I love the smoked salmon. The egg was light and fluffy, as I thought it should be. The crust was lacking.. crustiness. It was a little soggy, but I didn't mind too much because I was too busy enjoying the salmon. The plate also had some salad, which was enjoyable as well. The coffee was not bad, however pricey. I think it was €4, which is more on the expensive side considering our quiche was €7. Bottom line, it was a good way to start off our time in France.

The people that showed up were friendly, the bar tenders were friendly, and I was able to find a lot of songs to sing. Of course it was a bit limited because it is France, not the US, so I expected the song lists to be limited, but I was surprised by some of the songs I found to sing. What amazed me most is how much the Parisians enjoyed my song selections and the songs I knew that they also sang. I felt no negativity from the people that showed up to sing and just have a good time. I had so much fun and made some friends. The party started late, but it was still going strong by the time I had to call it a night at 3am. Drinks were a little pricey, but the friends I made bought me some drinks. Of course there were a lot of folks singing songs in French that I didnt understand the words, but took it as an opportunity to learn some French and still hear some beautiful voices. The beer is 8 euros, which is "expensive"...but the locals pay it so I'm not sure what there is to complain about. The mics are decent enough, you might get some "off sound" getting back into your mouth depending on your voice strength, but the output to the people in the bar was fine....YouTube works fine typically but depending on the link there might be some missing words, just roll with it. It's not like you wrote the song.

Come to Minato and find the magic at work. My wife stuck with a glass of a dry sake, which is probably the best sake we ever tried. There are tons of options on the menu based on your preferences, so explore. I wanted to branch out a bit more and sample a sake based cocktail, so I had a sake flower, which blends in st germain and another ingredient or two. Tasty stuff, a dark pink elixir served in a lovely high ball glass. Sadly we didn't have the stamina to stay for karaoke, but they were offering a private room for €50 per hour for small groups. Not bad if you come with friends. I would love to come back. Also, I marveled at the bartender's ability to seamless switch from fluently speaking French, English, and Japanese depending on his customer, all while mixing amazing drinks and being a super sharp dresser.
