Chicken Tikka Masala (top), Butter Chicken (bottom)

We walked in on Saturday at noon and it was very homey and quiet. It is a small family owned business. A lady came out to greet us and asked us if we were dining in or getting take out. She was really sweet and gentle. There are three levels of spiciness. We both got the medium tikka masala and creamy butter chicken. The chicken and veggies were in nice big chunks. The heat was right as well. The order of garlic naan was a nice touch to the meal. Overall, the food was delicious--I personally really enjoyed the butter chicken. It definitely hit the spot. Would come again for the butter chicken!

Ummm?!! Yummm!!! Everything thing was delicious! I had the fish curry, Chana masala and garlic naan. Butter chicken for my friend with the cheese kofti. All for around $45 We left full and with plenty of leftovers! It was my friends first time trying Indian food and he loved it. So much so, that after his leftover butter chicken was gone the next day, he ordered it again. I ordered my food level three spicy and it was perfect. Wasnt so spicy that I couldn't eat it, but enough to remember that you're eating Indian food. The chick peas were cooked well and were tender to the bite. The fish seemed a bit mushy and undercooked in my opinion. I like a more firm fish, but the sauce was still yummy. And y'all that garlicky naan, as y'all know, was the best vehicle to sop up all of those wonderful curry juices! I felt that all flavors were perfectly balanced. No extra salt or condiments needed. The tomato wasn't too overpowering the the amount of spices didn't leave my mouth feeling numb or bitter. Just simply amazing. Will definitely be back! Only complaint were the paper plates lol felt kinda ghetto to me but I can forgive

I was craving Indian food for dinner after my workout today and I was about to order from one of my other fav Indian spots, but found out they shut down! Sooo, I kept searching and found Wild Mirchi and I'm so glad I did!!! I ordered boneless chicken biriyani to go and was so shocked when the man asked me if I wanted bone in or boneless-I was like "oh heyyy didn't know that was even an option!" My food was ready on time and it was so bomb! This is definitely my new spot! They also deliver :)

I came here once, maybe 6 months ago - randomly found it on Yelp. Had a good experience and I remember that the food was good. I was craving Indian tonight and decided to come back. Unfortunately, the experience was so terrible that I feel obligated to give a heads up to my Yelp community. Food: I got the chicken tikka masala, lamb seekh kabob dish, garlic naan and rice. In all my years of ordering chicken tikka masala I've never seen it look so... red? Did not taste good, and came with a thimble of chicken. The lamb dish was small as well and tasted ok, but both dishes just looked very unappetizing. Service: The restaurant industry is hurting for good employees and this place is no different. We waited 35 minutes for food, and there were only 2 parties in the entire place. The worst part is that our server zealously applied thumb flavor to each dish that she delivered. I'm not at all a germaphobe, but add that to an already mediocre tasting/ visually unappealing plate. I don't ever remember leaving a plate unfinished at any Indian place I've eaten at. But today I got to scratch that off my bucket list. There is a strong Indian community out here in Plano so settle for below average Indian food, I shall not.

Nice place to be, Friendly people, delicious food , nice decor and pleasant ambience. Loved both food we ordered. Found a little high price as I am from SF Bay Area and prices are even higher here than there. Will be back n I highly recommend this place to try

Delicious buffet! Clean and friendly staff. The bread was spectacular. Average price for a buffet around $16 per person.

Small place but a gem. Great Taste its typical Vijayawada Style Biryani, and very apt spice level for everyone from low to very spicy.

The chicken seemed to be dark meat, but it was high quality. The sauce was flavorful with just the right amount of heat. Basmati rice was perfectly cooked. The naan was thinner than most and just a bit crispy, but good. My mango lassi was enjoyable as well. Also of note - portions were generous. Counter service was professional and knowledgeable when I ordered, and they checked in during my meal to make sure everything was good. The atmosphere was pleasant - modern and clean. Definitely recommended if you're looking for a modern, casual Indian restaurant.

The curry was creamy and flavorful without being too heavy, which is perfect when you still have the rest of the workday ahead of you. And the naan? Soft, warm, and fresh... the kind that just completes the meal. The portions are generous, so you get great value for lunch. It's definitely more satisfying than the typical quick-grab options around the area. And the dining area is clean, casual, and comfortable enough to actually enjoy your break instead of rushing through a meal. Plano has a lot of Desi food options, but for a weekday lunch that delivers real taste and isn't rushed or sloppy, O'Desi Aroma stands out.
