I drive to the new office, and while checking in, I notice a basket with those heavy duty eye shades to use when your eyes have been dilated. They never mentioned them after my first visit so I drove home that day being hardly able to see, eyes watering terribly from the sun. I probably shouldn't have even been driving. I mentioned both of these issues to the specialist when I saw him, and he did commiserate. In fact both doctors I saw, one at each location, were great! But the front staff, while always polite, dropped the ball twice, on not giving me those eye shades, and not clarifying the LOCATION of the appointment. Been thinking about getting LASIK and I finally decided to get it done after extensive research. I…read morechose this place based on positive reviews here on yelp and responsiveness during my initial inquiries. First, I scheduled a virtual consult on a Friday which took about 15minutes. The staff was able to answer majority of my questions. After which, I went on a Tuesday to have the in-person check up and scans done. I went to determine if I was a candidate for PRK (4-day recovery) or LASIK (1-day recovery). Shelly was the one who assisted me. Then my surgery was scheduled that Friday. I arrived at 12:30pm as schedule. The scans were redone for accuracy. The LASIK procedure was done at around 2pm and lasted for approximately 15mins. They give you valium 30minutes before and Xanax after to help you sleep. The process I would say is 5/10 in terms of pain. There's a pressure in your eye then the laser. After the procedure, there's a lot of burning's sensation and it's difficult to open your eyes. That's why they recommend to sleep for at least 6 hours to give your eyes a rest and recover. They give you eye shields and glasses and there will be eye medications that you need to instill for 7days and eye drops for 3 months. You need to come back the following day for a follow up. The following morning, I am able to see clearly but a little bit cloudy. Both doctors were nice and have a great bedside manner. Overall, I highly recommend this place for LASIK. They do have payment options, one of is care credit, 18months zero interest.

Urgent care honestly scared me a bit with some of the things they mentioned it could be, so they referred me over to see the specialists here. That's when I met Lindsey Van, and just talking to her immediately made me feel more at ease. She was extremely patient, took the time to answer all of my questions, and didn't make me feel rushed at all. Turns out it was just a scratch that likely happened in my sleep. Nothing crazy, but I was really glad to have someone knowledgeable walk me through everything and explain what was going on. Never thought I'd be writing a review for an eye doctor, but here I am. Great experience and very thankful for the care I received.

Yesterday, it took the doctor over an hour past my appointment time to see me. She said she was on a conference call and then had a difficult patient. I was her first scheduled patient, so that doesn't make sense. This has been happening more and more. Always an apology, but not any changes to being more timely. I understand things happen sometimes, but an hour and 15 minutes past my appointment time seems unacceptable. I was there to follow up on my ocular hypertension. That wasn't even discussed. The doctor rushed through my appointment. We talked about my dry eye issue and that was it. I had questions, but she left before I could ask them. I had to ask the technician if my retinal photos were okay. She said they were, except for the cataracts. What cataracts? They were documented on my chart in 2019, and no one ever told me. Also, the staff at the front desk were making negative statements about other patients, loud enough for the waiting room to hear. That doesn't seem professional to me. I'm not coming back. I can get better, more thorough care somewhere else, I'm sure.
