Absolutely great pho! The best in Harrisonburg.! Great home-style Vietnamese food. It's a small spot. You walk in and seat yourself and a waiter/server will come and take your order. Sometimes if the place is super packed then you're gonna have a wait but that only means the food is good. With it being packed that also means the typical "busy" restaurant stuff might happen.

We were staying near the Massanutten area for and wanted to take a break from some of the american food we were eating on our trip. I will admit I am not the biggest fan of Pho as I don't eat beef and have been disappointed in the past by most non-beef Pho options. However, this place has great reviews so I wanted to check it out. One thing about me, even if I don't like something, I will always keep giving it another shot! I'm so glad I did because the moment we walked in, I could tell this place would be good. It smelled incredible in there! Also this place was packed, and more and more people kept coming in within the hour of them being closed. You can definitely tell that this is a local favorite, especially for JMU students. I got the seafood pho and was blown away! It was so flavorful and actually tasted phenomenal. I ate every bit of it. In the past I've found Pho to be bland, but not this one! I added a ton of condiments and such to it which made it even better. My husband got a weekend special, I believe it was a pork chop plate and he really enjoyed his dish as well.

As we were driving home, we stopped in Harrisonburg for lunch. We ordered the combination pho, spring rolls- pork and shrimp, and a pork banh mi. All of the food was solid, but the summer rolls did have way too much lettuce. They did load up the meat in the pho and I really appreciated that! However still overall would recommend! All of the servers were quick and attentive. It was a very casual, but mom & pop vibe. We were in and out in under an hour to head back on our road trip! Would recommend and will be back soon again!

I love this place! This is my and my boyfriend's go to pho place. Whenever we venture to Harrisonburg, this is usually the place we stop for food. It's a cute little store that I believe it family owned and ran. The staff is all nice (and not judgmental with my "no veggies" order of pho ). Great food for a great price! Cant go wrong eating here!

I was driving on I-81 on a rainy Sunday afternoon in mid June and noted hunger. My Happy Cow app offered Vietopia as an option. The restaurant was quite easily accessible off of the interstate. I was able to park within 10 feet of the entrance. There was a couple just preparing to leave when I made my grand entrance as was immediately greeted by a friendly young Vietnamese woman whom i heard saying that she was the manager. Being naive regarding Vietnamese cuisine, she patiently answered my queries and took my order. I decided upon the vegan soup and Vietnamese iced coffee and was seeved within 10 minutes. The soup was piping hot, complemented by iced coffee which was good, and the soup was simply delicious. The ingredients are listed on the photo of the menus which I'll post by and by. As I type this, there are now about 5 people in the restaurant, 3 of who are ordertake out. When I informed the manager/server of my 5 star Yelp review, she squealed in joyful appreciation.

My wife and I have been here a few times and we love it! We always enjoy their appetizers like the shrimp blankets and the spring rolls. Our favorite tho is the pork banh mi sandwiches and the pho. It never disappoints! Service is really good too and it's always a chill and friendly environment. I definitely recommend this place!!

Food came out very fast! Good service. Spring rolls were fat but mostly lettuce. Grilled pork was tasty. Pho broth was light and the soup had a lot of meat. Condiment selection was really great! Most pho places I go to don't have fish sauce and sate on the table but this place did!

Overall, 3.5/5 but will bump it to a 4/5. Pho for lunch this past Sunday was a mood given the cold chilly weather. I came here with a big group, and fortunately, they were able to sit all 12 of us at the long table within 15-20 minutes of waiting. This place is popular and definitely seem to be a local favorite of Harrisonburg! We ordered pretty soon after and didn't wait too long for food. K2. FRESH SPRING ROLLS WITH PORK & SHRIMP (2) - 4.50 For someone who lives in Nova, $4.50 for two spring rolls (with meat) is a complete steal. The spring roll was very enjoyable, and the peanut sauce had a nice consistency that made it easy to scoop up. I really enjoyed the nutty, sweet and tangy flavors of the sauce. I'd recommend giving them a try here. A9. Tái, Chín, Nạm, Gân, Sách - 11 First thing first, I sip the broth on its own. It was seasoned enough, but I felt like it lacked the depth of beef bone broth that I was hoping for. The broth didn't have much flavor (very diluted beef) with mainly just salt/MSG. I really liked the texture of the pho noodles here, though. The cuts of meat felt a bit off with its coloring and texture. I was pretty disappointed by the pho here and probably won't get it next time. One of my friends got the banh mi here and raved about the quality and fair pricing. There's definitely good non-pho options here, but unfortunately, the pho here wasn't satisfying for me. Their rice dishes seem promising, though!

THIS IS THE BEST PLACE EVER !!! I go here like twice a month I LOVE it. The pho broth is insanely good and the portions are huge; everything here tastes incredible. I highly recommend to everyone !! It's the best pho in the burg. The service is also incredible, as the place is family run and they are super quick and attentive :) Make sure to leave a good tip ! The only bad thing about coming here is you'll never want to go anywhere else

Love the pho here! It tastes clean and not oily. The meat was so juicy too. Would totally recommend especially on a cold night!

One of the few Vietnamese places in the area! I was driving down towards Roanoke and stopped in Harrisonburg to get my fix of Vietnamese food. The staff was very nice - the chef came out and even talked to us because I ordered one of his favorite dishes, the Bo Luc Lac (shaking beef). The portions were excellent - it comes with rice. It was a bit salty, we could barely finish it. But the flavor was there. We also got the Mi Xao Don, and spring rolls. Unfortunately, no pho this time but I was looking around at other peoples bowl and it looked very good. I might have to try it the next time I'm in Harrisonburg!

HUGE pho servings! Great for vegetarians, since their veggie pho is served with vegetable broth.

Great takeout. Don't go for the ambience. Food is fresh, delicious, and the portions are generous. Price is reasonable.

I guess I should've known better, but the make your own drink was mediocre because the guava option was based off a not-so-yummy juice. So next I ordered a drink off their menu and it was just alright. Honestly, I'd just skip out on drinks next time, but it was New Year's Eve so.. I did try to ask our server for drink reccs but she was 20.. So, we really enjoyed our ramens. Even the veggie ramen that I ordered, with a clear broth, was quite tasty - I've had clear broth options that were less flavorful. We also ordered a few additional appetizers. We shared some bao buns which were excellent, my partner ordered some meat skewers and I ordered a salmon nori taco. All in all, a great little shop. We considered coming back later on our trip but decided to explore elsewhere.

I came with a particular need to get something that was both flavorful but not overly traumatizing for an ailing stomach. A miso ramen fit the bill nicely. While Japanese, the menu is vegetarian-friendly and offers ample customization. My ramen was tasty, but I did feel a bit shorted by getting only one marinated tofu sheet to finish off at the end. I needed some sushi to feel full, and fortunately, their inari with a seaweed salad filling were delicious, arguably more so than the ramen. A tea from their boba menu delivered some nice chia seeds and strong flavor, albeit with an aftertaste. I wouldn't say that my bar for ramen was reset, but as a regular driver along I-81, I felt good about having made this stop and wouldn't mind repeating it.
