There is a parking lot for the plaza, and we were able to easily find a parking spot on a Sunday. I was impressed by the decor after first walking in, as the fish tank was eye-catching and the entire restaurant had an elegant look. After being seated we were able to request English menus. The servers did speak German, but basically no English. Because of this, when ordered we mostly had to point and repeat numbers until he was able to understand. None-the-less we were able to order the food we wanted. We had the appetizer sampler, wonton soup, a couple curries, some crispy duck, and shrimp chips w/peanut sauce. Let me just start off by saying that everything tasted great! The appetizer sampler had small bites of most of their appetizer options, and we enjoyed them all. The curries were perfectly seasoned, the wonton soup flavorful, the duck so crispy and juicy, and the shrimp chips w/peanut sauce were made to order making them absolutely delicious. A friend ordered some tea at the end of the meal, and it came in the cutest teapot that sits inside a larger cup to pour the tea into. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and even was open to eating leftovers the following day -- and this is a rarity for me, especially while traveling. The reason I have one star off is due to a couple reasons; one of them being that with the prices as high as they are, why the employees do not know at least a small amount of English to make things easier for visiting guests. In the end, the food was great and worth every single penny. If I am ever back in the area, I would absolutely make another visit here.

My steamed dumplings ( filled with crab) were delicious and the side dipping sauce was fragrant with just the right amount of heat. My husband's fried wantons were crispy, not greasy. Also quite good! My entree of jumbo prawns with vegetables was superb. They even removed all shells from the prawns without my asking. The other entree of classic duck was just as good. I highly recommend this restaurant.

They didn't seem busy and the host said I should have a reservation, but sat me anyways. I was able to sit at the bar and talk to the bar tender. The cocktail menu was extensive and creative. He did a great job providing suggestions and guiding me through the food and drink menu. There card machine was down that eveing, so it was cash only. I didn't learn this until the end of the meal. I had the crispy duck bar bun, and another dish with fried beef and sweet potatoes. It was all cooked well and delicious, with great aesthetic presentation.

There is are a good number of tables with a high bar area looking out into the mall, then 2 rows of about 4 long bench tables each. I came here while waiting for my train to Paris to grab a quick bite. I ordered the fresh summer rolls, Pho Bo, and bún with beef. The fresh summer rolls were OK, but they only had one piece of shrimp in each roll, whereas most other places give 2-4 pieces. Also, the sauce was not the traditional fish-sweet vinegar or peanut-hoisin sauce, but a Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce. The tastes worked, but the roll itself was just too dry, so all the flavor had to come from the dipping sauce. Now a the bún with beef that I'm used to having has room temperature vermicelli noodles, grilled beef, veggies (lettuce, bean sprouts, cilantro, cucumbers, mint/basil), crushed peanuts, and sometimes some green onions/scallions. The bún with beef I received from Quán Sen was very odd. The vermicelli noodles were warm and the beef looked/felt/tasted steamed. On the side of the bowel were some mixed veggies; e.g. lettuce, carrots, spinach. Then there was this curry type sauce that they poured all over the top of the beef. I'm all for trying fusions and different cultures take on cuisines, this just was not good at all. I took about three small bites just to get a taste of it all, and to actually give it a good try but in the end the meal ended up in a to-go box and given to a homeless man outside the mall area. The Pho Bo though was not bad. The broth was super flavorful and well balanced. This dish is the only reason why I am giving this place 2 stars versus 1. If you're in the area and want to give this place a try, then I suggest a Pho dish or curry/stir-fry type dish as the other "Vietnamese" ones just lack so much flavor. Notes: The staff speaks Vietnamese and German, basically little to no English. The mall has free wifi. There are circle seating areas throughout the mall with outlets to charge up.
