This restaurant seems to be part of a small local chain--I've spotted at least one other location in Warsaw. Viet Town offers dine-in and takeaway at very reasonable prices, with a menu that's mostly Vietnamese but includes a few Thai dishes like pad Thai.
I ordered the chicken curry, which tasted more like a Thai red curry than a traditional Vietnamese one. It was creamy with a mild coconut flavor, not too spicy, and loaded with veggies like zucchini and carrots. The meal came neatly packed in a divided container that kept the rice and curry separate--small detail, but I appreciated it.
Their menu is vegetarian-friendly too, with tofu, vegetables, and oyster mushrooms as protein options. While they didn't have some of the Vietnamese staples I expected (like lemongrass chicken or catfish), the food was tasty, fresh, and affordable. My order was ready quickly, and the cashier was friendly and helpful. read more
