Vidts presented lots of styles and varieties of patterns for each style. It was easy to get overwelmed. I likely spent 45 minutes shopping and trying on shirts. They provided clean pressed sample shirts in my size of each style - this was a first for me. I was curious about price differences and they explained that prices fluctuated on patterns due to the quantities produced by the manufacturer - a 10,000 shirt run would be priced lower than say a 2,500 shirt run. I never knew this. I wound up buying five shirts, a few from their sale rack and a few full priced. They have a woman's shop right next door. Business was brisk but the associate spent much of my time there alongside me offering suggestions and feedback.
I spent decades in New York City visiting many clothing shops, but the service I received at Vidts topped my experiences as it was over the top and unexpected, especially for a small town in Belgium.
