I have driven past The Montessori School on 11th St. my entire adult life and always been…read moreinterested in learning more about the practices over a traditional daycare. Some friends of mine had posted that their kids attended here - one of which has had 3 children come through! I knew when I was pregnant with my son, I wanted to try to get him enrolled, especially since I would be going back to work just down the street - but initially I wasn't sure if they allowed infants. Upon learning MS@11th accepted infants, my son was enrolled and under the absolute best care by several teachers who loved him so well! By his 1st birthday, he was able to understand some Spanish and eventually began saying some words thanks to Mrs. Yovana, Ms. Betsy l, Mrs. Darla and Ms. Karla! When he moved up to the pre-primary class, it was clear that we would love our school even more. Mrs. Karen & Mrs. Hannah have been so wonderful. They know exactly what each child needs and when they need it. The exude peace and create the perfect learning environment for young minds. My guy will soon move up to the primary class and we know that he will learn so incredibly much from Ms. Sara and all of his friends in class. One of my favorite observations is how the older kids help guide the younger ones and Ms. Sara always has a watchful eye. Helpers like Ms. Kelsey, Ms. Sonya and Ms. Jen are always filling any gaps as well. And Mrs. Jamie is always keeping everyone on track and informed! The montessori approach truly meets each child where they are; helping them build boundaries, confidence, knowledge, manners, patience and skills. I'm so thankful for our Montessori family and the love my boy has been shown since the start.

This school actually traumatized me as a parent. I paid for a month and pulled her within 3 weeks…read more Here are just some of my issues: Gave my daughter a moldy bottle then instead of apologizing they said "we never had that happen before." She was sick for weeks after this. They made it seem like my daughter was a problem and needed medication (not even 1.5 year old) she attended primrose school of atascosita immediately after this school with ZERO ISSUES. We moved states and she's at another daycare now again with NO ISSUES. Clearly she was just used to being treated better than they did. Lost my daughters clothes then when I received them back they clearly smelled like another child I watched them let my 1.5y.o. grab a tiny infants milk bottle, drink it, and then without even wiping it off they put it back in the infants mouth Watched a toddler walking with a teacher EATING a pool noodle while the teacher let them... My daughter would cry at this school "unless in a crib" so they left her in a crib most of the time When speaking to the director they do not believe in cameras (clearly because they don't want to be held accountable)

Adventure Zone Kids is hands down the best daycare. We had been to a few in the area. This owner…read moreexpects the best of herself and the teachers to ensure those sweet children are treated as their family. This is the first daycare my daughter was excited to attend but also began to thrive quickly. This is her home away from home while we work. One very important this to me is also that they let your child be who they are. That is different than I've seen of the other good daycares in the area. They also have a fantastic learning program for the kids to make it fun and interactive. They have great communication when something doesn't go as planned (falling, etc). They also go way out of their way to make things better if they can. Here's an example of how they go above and beyond: When several kids went through a biting stage, they changed up the classroom size to 4 or 5 kids to 1 teacher to allow more focused time with the kids. They implemented plans for playtime to prevent biting incidents. I wouldn't trust any other daycares else with my precious child again.

For lunch, I would highly recommend the crispitos, they are quite delicious. The dinner rolls are pretty good as well, especially when covered in butter and gravy. As the weather gets balmier, I'd suggest utilizing the rooftop swimming facilities. It's hard to beat a good swim after a hard day's studying. If you have a disagreement with a fellow student, you will need to wait until the traditional excursion to Municipal for the issue to be properly resolved. Go Bulldogs!
