I appreciate that I don't have to kneel where I am in mass because my knees hurt. I never knew that there was a church near Serremonte. I guess people will attend mass then shop afterward. What is good about this church...choices to park. You can park on the side street next to the church on Southgate or park in the lot where plenty of cars will be parking at. Only problem about parking in the lot is you have to wait until everybody leaves before you can leave...you must stay for the entire mass even though it is over! Will I attend this church again in the future...yes! I will come back to St Andrew's when I am in town again.

I felt welcome the first time my wife and I walked in the door. We drove to church on our motorcycles and were welcomed by an usher named Harley! I am a part of the men's group (which is very active and the first time I really have had so many men that I can call my friends) and my wife a part of the women's ministry. If you are looking for a church you should check out NLCF, you will feel welcome. This is a bible based church that is led by a very real and honest Pastor, Jonathan Markham. (That's not properly worded, sorry, sleepy) This place has plenty of parking and it's tucked away in nice community, who doesn't like to be where the land touches the sky when trying to lift your spirit. It's pretty casual in terms of dress code, we come here to commune with our religious duties not commune with our next date, which is how it should be. I always feel good after coming here, along with the comfort of the smiles one received up entering is a blessing in a city that you rarely get a nod of greeting. It felt like she was getting rid of us. We did not even had a chance to speak and ask questions about dates and paper works necessary. I tried to asked about something and she said; its all in the paper read it! I tried to ask her again, she replied; read the paper! Everything is in there! We were just speechless and we walked out of the room. Maybe she was having a bad day but I hope she doesn't bring it out on other people. God bless her.

The priest can be a little hard to understand with his I think Philippino or as asian accent so sit in the front of the church. I went on a Monday night and it was a candle lit vigil very cool, all of the lights were off and everyone carried a candle on there way in to the church. The priest explained how we all need to be the light of the world and like a candle burning off wax over time, we too need to make self sacrifices to give off light. he explained it very wisely to us all in a peaceful voice that was soothing to my soul. The other time I went here I sat in the back with my girlfriend and she said that when she sat down in the church she felt something leave up out of her throat from her chest. I didn't believe her but she swore on it so I do now and she stopped arguing with me after we went here so I do believe her now.. There is a beautiful new grocery store across the street that sells great vegetables its almost like gods garden across the street. Found the church, they actually do service at St. Andrews in San Bruno 1600 Santa Lucia Ave, San Bruno, CA The service was nice and they were all friendly. Very small service, even for 8am, only 6 other attendees besides myself. However the service was great, I missed part of the sermon because I went to St. Elizabeth's first and saw the note on the door. They were welcoming, when I came in showed me the service pamphlet and after came and introduced. I've never felt so welcomed and at home like I have at City Life Church. They have a motto that simply states, "You don't have to do life alone." The worship team is phenomenal, and they conduct worship, where you know its spirit filled. PJJ, Pastor Quez, and the rest of the pastoral staff always bring down the house with the word. I love that they're all so approachable. During the week, you can connect with folks through their life groups, which really hone in a sense of community. You really can come as you are with no judgment. People come in casual attire, and during Giants, Warriors, and 49ers seasons, you'll often see a bunch of folks listening to the word while supporting their team. The church doesn't have a parking lot, but they've partnered with the Lowe's across the street where you can safely park your car on the second floor parking structure. Although the service is conducted in english, they have spanish and portuguese translation for anyone who needs it. On Sundays, you're always greeted with fresh coffee, hot chocolate, and a great smile. During the summer months, they have partnered with food vendors to support their businesses and have a different food truck out after each service wirh yummy snacka, free of charge. What got me the most was that they're intentional about doing church outside it's four walls. They're out there every week serving the community. They've helped the community by developing a community garden and clean ups. They've adopted a George Washington Carver Elementary school by investing in the kids and the teaching staff. They have a strong partnership with a nearby shelter and work with non profits such as Foster the City that help foster kids and their families stay rooted in SF and Monilize Love which brings all kinds of services out to the community. Their support stretches even further than the local neighborhood they're in by supporting students as far as Galileo High School. It's such an awesome church that's doing so much good work for San Francisco. I feel so blessed and loved to be a part of this church family. Come and visit us.
