However, here is what I can tell you: Our Parish is a loving, and welcoming parish. We have 2 dinners twice a year that allow all of us to come together as one family to share in our success as a parish. (and the parish caters it!) It has a thriving faith community that has devotions and confessions the first Saturday of every month. We have a bible study program for those interested in enlightening our faith and is a great way to meet others in the parish, an amazing Legion of Mary chapter that does various charitable work among the community, an awesome St. Vincent de Paul conference that is allowed to help so many in the county ONLY because of the love and generosity of our parish family, an excellent PSR program for parents and their children who have chosen to send their children to a public school setting. Patriotic Rosaries are said on the first Thursday of every month, let me not forget the incredible work that is done by our Sewing Circle to create the most beautiful quilts in the county. And probably the most important thing is the beauty of our Adoration Chapel that allows for the personal prayer time that is so important in everyone's life. Our latest project is working toward a fantastic youth ministry in our parish. Sacred Heart Parish is alive and well in Crystal City MO. Respectfully, Carolyn Hackmann

Initially our experience with Assumption Early Learning was positive until our child was almost…read moreone. At that time, the administration started suggesting our child was behind developmentally because they weren't walking yet. We asked our Doctor and they said not to worry about it as kids develop at their own pace. The head of the daycare continued to push us to seek help even though we weren't worried about it, even to the point of having a social worker say they don't qualify for services. Shelley continued to push despite not being a doctor or having a degree in social work. Eventually we figured out that they were pushing this so hard not for the welfare of our child, but because they had promised someone the spot in my child's classroom and wouldn't move them to the next class because they couldn't walk. We were happy to leave the preschool after dealing with their attempts to bully and shame us, however, it took my child several years to trust teachers again after being at Assumption.
