History

Established in 2016.

Victory Baptist Church started on a Wednesday evening as a Bible study, March 9, 2016, with just a handful of people, 7 in addition to my family. We formally organized as a church on July 3, 2016. We had an attendance of 52 to celebrate our one-year anniversary! My goal is to help people enter into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and make the foundational truths of the Bible known, understood, and integrated into the lives of believers. If you don't have a church home, or are looking for a small, old-fashioned Baptist Church, I'd like to personally invite you to come out and join us on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening. Or, if you've never even really been acquainted with a church, are interested in finding Biblical answers and encouragement, or just want to learn more about Christianity and how it can help you in your life, please stop by!

Meet the Business Owner: Pastor Joel S.

I received Jesus Christ on January 12, 1997. I did not grow up in church and for years was dependent on drugs and alcohol to just get through the week. I could not function normally without being under the influence of some kind of substance. I am not, or have ever been, perfect. I know what it is to live a life that is filled with all kinds of "bad things" that a lot of people in church will never understand. God reached out to me in love and grace and saved me. As a man who has experienced the grace of God against the backdrop of a messed up, wasted, hateful, and destructive life, I can tell you that God can set you free from all that. The best way I can describe it is that I was literally chained to a boulder I could not move, and Jesus set me free. I was not clean when He saved me, but He helped me get clean. You don't have to "get things right" before you reach out to Jesus. You reach out to Him exactly where you are and let Him do what only He can - set you free!
