The layout of the showroom was nice, clean and even the public restrooms were clean and hygienic. That said it was definitely not worth the long drive that we had to get there. We had expected a much, much bigger facility but it is small and simply not very much there to see. Add to that that the staff member simply sat behind his desk, never said hello, never asked if he could help us nor say goodbye when we left - what a waste of our time! Problems with order unable to speak to an actual person. 0345 number does not work why do they sell to the public but only trades people can ring them. Their own info on the web needs changing. The company seem to have a real problem with customer service, particularly in regards to delivery. I had a delivery booked, with a time window of the whole day. At around 4pm it hadn't arrived so I contacted the team via on-line chat (this is now the only way to talk to them) to be told it was due to be delivered before 5pm. The portal that tracks deliveries then confirmed it was due between 17:00 and 19:00. It then updated to show it was due between 16:30-18:30.... At around 7pm I contacted them again via online chat to be told that deliveries stop at 5pm! I was given the number of the delivery company - It was closed! I eventually came to the conclusion it wasn't being delivered that day, so I contacted them again the next day : they gave me the number of the local delivery firm (which was the same number I'd been given the previous day). I called them and they had no record of my delivery!! I told this to the person I was talking to via on-line chat and she said that was impossible, because she had spoken to the company who tried to deliver it yesterday but couldn't because their lorry was too big! They would try again today. I asked for the number of the person she was talking to (as she clearly wasn't talking to the local delivery company who confirmed no-one from Victorian Plumbing had contacted her) and she refused - it wasn't policy to give the delivery companies number. I was, frankly, fuming. There was no way of me being able to track the delivery, or speak to someone who knew what was going on. I will absolutely never use this company again, as whilst the products look amazing, their logistics are horrendous. Avoid! read more

Worst service from any company ever received!! First the order was changed well before delivery, on delivery the bath was not changed, tried to call/email to arrange collection and deliver new bath took over a week for a reply. the email said please call us to arrange collection we can't deliver same day when we get bath back we send new one out as a gesture of goodwill! the WC was missing or not part of the order delivered snd cannot get through on trades to anyone and another week has passed and still no bath or WC I am on hold fir 1 hour to trades no answer as yet , no replies to emails sent every day for last 8 days and no one to speak to in pers read more

Awful shop and even worse customer service. Hardly any tile selection when and you drive 50 minutes to the store, it's very disappointing. Asked if we could order a sample instead to be told you can only BUY a small sample when the full tile is 450 x 900mm? How can anyone see the full pattern or get a true sense of quality. A terrible experience. Have ordered a complete bathroom. Firstly the taps were faulty but replaced with ease then the sink was wonky. Was replaced but with another wonky sink, then another, then another. Customer service is terrible and still our sink has not been replace with one that stands straight. The WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life. As someone who has worked and trained in customer service for many years - I can't believe businesses can legally get away with treating their customers as poorly as I was treated by Victorian Plumbing. I purchased almost an entire bathroom suite from them back in July 2020, I was pleased with the items and the cost. They did arrive late which I put down to the covid pandemic and it didn't affect my installation. They refunded half of my delivery fee which I thought was a bit poor considering it didn't arrive when promised, but for the sake of a few pounds I didn't complain further. If only I knew that was the start of a complete sh*tshow with them!!! I had a cabinet and basin fitted by my fantastic, qualified and experienced plumbers who have done work for me in the past with no problems. Within 3 months, the cabinet had cracked all along one of the doors at the top, and alone the worktop. I had looked after the cabinet as per manufacturers advice and wiped it down daily. As a clean freak, this comes naturally to me. I complained to VP who apologised for my faulty item and agreed to send another. The cabinet arrived in October and I have only been able to get it replaced this week due to the ongoing pandemic. They had sent only the cabinet and not the top. So I complained once again and they agreed to send the top out. I have requested they pay for the installation as it is through no fault of my own I am having to replace it. They have refused, told me it is my fault as I have allowed the damage to happen, I haven't looked after it properly etc etc. I was informed the cabinet should have been fitted a metre away from the bath. No where on their website, the information provided with the cabinet or the downloadable instructions does it state this information. My plumbers could not believe the item had cracked in such a way. I am disgusted and appalled that VP are now costing me money because of a faulty item they refuse to take responsibility for, and are choosing to blame me as the customer. After ordering a bath needed urgently and paying the extra for next day delivery because we had been let down on delivery dates by 2 other companies I have given up and cancelled my order. A week after placing my order, today I refused to accept the third damaged bath they sent out. management need to get to grips with the poor quality of the goods they are sending out. On top of the incompetence the customer service is dire. They provide no phone number and frequently Live Chat is not available either. we have had a builder held up for a week because of the unacceptable condition of the baths sent out and their standard response, even though we paid an extra £39.99 for next day delivery was that my complaint/problem/return would be forwarded to the 'resolution team' to review and then I would receive an email in 24 to 48 hrs telling me what the next step would be! After a verbal battle each time a replacement bath was ordered for delivery next day but they were just as scratched as the first one. After the 2nd scratched bath the customer service agent was patronising and insulting saying "as a gesture of goodwill" she had arranged for another replacement bath to be sent out. That, my dear, is not "a gesture of goodwill" it is the BARE MINIMUM you could do and the company still failed. Next day delivery availability sounds like a good service but next day delivery of damaged goods is no service at all. My advice would be avoid this company like the plague. read more

Goodness how I wish I had read these reviews before I used this dreadful company.They did not send an item and insisted on evidence of a photograph of the missing item(this may give you an inkling of the average IQ)They took so long to rectify this at their so called resolution centre that my plumber had to leave me fo a week without my en-suite being completed.Guests had to therefore be cancelled and endless fruitless arguments continued with people who just don't care about their customers.Use at your peril. read more

I bought a bathroom suite and the bath was damaged. I could not inspect it as I had no room in my small flat to unpack it not could I lift the bath to inspect it. Victorian Plumbing have been slow, unhelpful and are blaming me for not inspecting it on delivery. Their customer after care is a disgrace and the time to respond is shockingly slow! I would NEVER recommend anyone use them and will never buy from them again. The goods are poorly packed, badly shipped and I had to pay £50 just to have it take from the street to my flat. The price you see is full of hidden extras that push the total cost up. My advise - look around at other suppliers. read more

I made an order on 22 January and was told it would be delivered within 2-5 days. When it hadn't turned up by 29 January I called them only to be told they were very busy and couldn't tell me when my order was going out. I asked for a manager to call me back which he did and told me they were very busy but my order would go out that day. I still haven't had it and my project is now delayed because of this shocking service. I have ordered from other bathroom sites after this date and received the order the next day.
