They go above and beyond to try to get you in even without an appointment, of course if you walk in on a Sat or Sun you may have to wait or come back in a bit, but it is well worth the wait. Literally walking distance from my house. But even if I had to drive a ways, I wouldn't mind it. The owners hospitality is awesome. They make you feel like they truly appreciate your being there. Moved here from CA and I love how this place has that authentic nail shop feel. Small and straight to the point. I hate being in huge upscale nail spas where the work just isn't up to par. I get an acrylic fill and pedicure every couple weeks and surprisingly, this place, I don't mind bringing my daughters with me if I have to. The have a table set up in the back where they can play LEGO's, and the girls really enjoy it. My nails always look & feel great. The acrylic lasts through to my next visit. Love these guys been to them four times now and they always do a nice job and are so sweet to my baby girl who often has to come with me to the nail salon. They always go above and beyond to make her and I happy. Once my polish color actually changed (bizzare) and they re did my nails for free. NOT happy with this company after today. I made an appointment during my lunch for 11:00. I originally wanted 11:30, but they asked if I could do 11:00 instead. So I accommodated their timeline. Got there right at 11. I sat their till 11:20 when I finally asked (a second time) if they were running late and that I was on a tight timeline. I got stressed out because I needed to get back to the office. While I was waiting I looked at their price list. A gel fill was $32 and a gel fill with gel polish was $46. I had my own polish, so was expecting to only have to pay the $32 + my tip. She rang me up at $46 and I said I had my own polish and that your price list has fill only for $32. The gal they asked (assuming she was the owner) said it was for services. Are your F____G kidding me. So the cost of services is NOT baked into the price list? What the hell kind of company runs a business like that. NEVER will go back and would NEVER recommend this company. They DO NOT respect the customer at all. read more

I made an appt for dip manicure and they took me on time. I was unsure about my color and they helped me pick out one with a perfect accent Color. Also offered water right away. Absolutely amazing! First time in, I called ahead of time to check availability and was told I could be attended right away. Went in for a pedicure and the woman did an exceptional job. Covid conscious, they had acrylic dividers set up at the hand stations and front desk. The seats were wiped down immediately after use and hand sanitizer was encouraged after completing the transaction. Not super impressed with my full set. I was told extra for the shape (medium length ballerina), which is fine but with that I expect the shaping to be on point... a few of my nails are noticeably crooked and some others have uneven acrylic. It seems as though the wrong size tips were used on some nails as the outgrowth makes it look like I already need a fill in some places 5 days later. read more

Absolutely loved this nail salon! They were following all of the necessary COVID precautions with plastic screens in between the technician and client as well as requiring masks. They were also great about hand washing and sanitizer each step of the way. Now onto the nails, I called in ahead of time just to ensure they weren't busy, they happily got me in and I was seated immediately. My nails were so well done with my technician paying attention to the details. The best part is that it was only $25 for a gel manicure that was done this well! I have known Chinh and Jimmy since I was a freshman at ASU in 2012. They used to work at Uni Nails in Tempe across from campus. After I moved out of Tempe I lost touch with them. I recently moved to Ahwatukee and needed to find another new place since my old salon was in North Phoenix. I called this place on a whim and Jimmy recognized my name and number. His salon is 5 min from my apt and I'm so glad I found them again. Waits can be long so appts help them plan their day to ensure they have time for you. I do not suggest walk ins. Their pedicures are cheap and done well, definitely the cheapest I've found in the area. Chinh is a nail wizard especially for long nails or acrylics. They are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile for customers. Prices are fair and they will not try to up sell you. If you damage a nail and come back they will most likely fix it for free or at little cost depending on what needs to be done. Always call ahead! read more

2 hours and 45 minutes... was how long it took me to get a mani pedi here when arriving at opening with 2 people in front of me. No appointment made. I expected a little wait but I did not anticipate to spend my whole morning here. What they told me would be a 10 minute wait turned into an hour of sitting with my feet in the water. Unfortunately it is just a husband a wife team plus one more lady arrives eventually. The husband cleans the nails, but I think just for pedicures (cuticles, heel removal, scrubs) then the wife does color. It took the gentleman very long to do my feet because he had to answer the phone and it literally rang every 3-5 minutes with people calling to make appointments. I have to give them this: they are the sweetest and have great customer service. I had my one year old with me and they took special care to keep giving her toys to try to keep her entertained. But man... I don't think I could go back for how long they took unless I had no where else to go and I would make sure to book an appointment. Walks ins are NOT recommended here. Granted, my nails are beautiful. 2 stars for being clean and kind. But I'm not sure I would come back which is a shame because it is the closest nail salon to my home. read more

Just happened to not be able to get to the original place to do my eyebrows and saw this place. The place is nice and clean and welcoming when you walk in. I love when nail shops don't reek of chemicals and this one was perfect. I had my eyebrows done and was in and out pretty quickly. The owner did a good job on my eyebrows which I know can be difficult because my hair is very light. I will be back for my nails at some point to try that out as well. Under New Management and I am glad I tried them out, the previous owners were Okay but the new owners are Amazing!! So many more color choices, they redecorated and the shop is cleaner more modern, and they keep up with the latest trends in nails. The only downside now, is that their business is booming, as word got out about how great jimmy and chin are, and the wait times and availability are long and scarce. I could easily go somewhere else that can see me sooner but I get too many compliments on my nails to stop coming here.
