This clinic had some pretty positive reviews so I decided to book an appointment. I had originally thought I was making an appointment at their Lincoln Heights location but it turns out I was scheduled for the Medical Center, which turned out to be a blessing in disguise. When I arrived, I realized I didn't have my insurance card and the lady working at the front desk was incredibly patient with me while I got the insurance company to email me my information. Dr. Hallett was very pleasant to interact with and recommended getting some blood drawn to run tests. They gave me a paper with a bunch of different addresses on it that I could go to for this and one of them was a short walk away from their office. I was able to get that done that same morning, which was incredibly convenient.

I highly recommend CTXAA because they not only are helping my peace of mind with these treatments, but they have kept my allergies at bay since my first visit.

I had a serious persistent cough that made it difficult to talk much less sing. I'm a voice teacher and Choir director and I need my voice. There were times I could barely walk to the bathroom without having to stop to catch my breath. When I met Dr. Gligoric I was first impressed by her attention to detail and her intense interest in my medical history as well as the symptoms I'd been experiencing. After the necessary testing, She suggested a course of shots that would take less time in the long run but would mean that I spend six hours once a week for six weeks in her office. Although I was a bit suspicious, by the second session I was starting to feel better and my persistent cough was now under control. Currently I have finished the six weeks of shots and now starting my maintenance program. The Cedar count is very high but I'm fine and best of all I'm not coughing!

I don't recommend this place for multiple reasons. I don't usually share personal stuff like this…read morebut I'm willing to in order to help others. My first appointment went well and the doctor addressed multiple things that could be worsening my health. I finally felt hopeful after years of doctors not helping me. She said that my next appointment would be so we could order labs and urine tests. This seemed good to get an idea of what's going on before recommending vitamins and other treatments. Well the next appointment came along and was awful. None of those labs were ordered and I'm desperate for relief. Instead she talked the entire hour just repeating what she mentioned the first appointment. She only did a lung test. She seemed to not really remember much of what I had told her either. She was jumping from topic to topic and not listening to me. I have multiple severe and complex diseases/disorders like ehlers danlos syndrome, pots, mast cell activation syndrome, and myalgic encephalomyelitis. She was recommending multiple things that were unsafe and dangerous for my health. Even though I told her I couldn't do those things. She also said something very unprofessional and not okay. She asked if I had experienced childhood trauma. I mentioned I experienced multiple types of abuse including sexual abuse by a caregiver. She began to tell me uncomfortable details about her own trauma. The things her abuser did to her. Then she told me "you need to forgive him" referring to the man that abused me when I was FOUR YEARS OLD. Hearing this from a woman was absolutely disgusting. As a doctor that is incredibly unprofessional too. It's been almost 2 weeks since this appointment and I am still in a PTSD episode from hearing those words. I have been in severe distress. I was looking for medical help & how Dr. Gligoric treated me was absolutely not okay. I never got those tests ordered. Before any of it could be arranged, she rushed me out of her office. She went to go talk to some man in the waiting room that seemed like her friend. She told me I'd have to come back despite me telling her I can only leave the house 1-2 times a month. My myalgic encephalomyelitis is severe and leaves me bed ridden 90% of the time. Pushing myself to make appointments can become life threatening. Along with everything, she is currently withholding my lung test results. I asked for a copy which she said would be $25. Then she said she can't give them to me unless I go back to the office. I have every right to MY medical information. She also charged me more than I should've for my appointments. This is not a safe provider to go to. I hope any sexual abuse survivors see this to stay clear from Dr. Gligoric. She is unprofessional and not helpful.
