Be aware, this place is popular with the locals. I showed up early Saturday and there were a few guys waiting in front of me, and folks already in the chairs. What I love is that this place is a real barber shop, and they do straight razor shaves. So I got cleaned up in the hair, and had the guy give me a shave. It was awesome, and the price was remarkably cheap: $14 bucks for a trim and the shave. Wow. Friendly staff, fun location, a real traditional barber shop. I love it.

We stopped by at 11:15 and the sign said he was open from 10-3 but was out-to-lunch until 11:30. When we went back the sign said he'd be back at 12:15, so we waited. At 12:15 he came out and we asked if my husband could get a haircut. He said, "No, I have an appointment across the street and won't be back until 1:00." It was bizarre, to say the least.
