My favorite items are the acai and pitaya bowl as they are loaded with fresh banana, granola, coconut flakes. I also chose to get the omega add on for bee pollen, honey, chia, and hemp seeds for extra fiber! I am so happy to see that their bowls are still amazing as always. Highly recommend their fruit juices and bowls for nature's dessert to give you a boost for the day.

There was a large pile of dirty dishes stacked up in the area where folks are supposed to place used plates, etc. They probably need more staff or this might just be their vibe. I had a spicy kalo burger for $20. The bun on the bottom was toasted (great) but the bun on top was not toasted and was crumbling apart as I ate it. The pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seed garnish was delicious, and inspired me to make my own kabocha stew at home. The food is tasty. The cleanliness could use some improvement especially given the prices. All that being said, it is a popular spot. The parking lot was full. The employees looked busy. Just be forewarned that service levels & cleanliness may fluctuate.

They had cute chairs and ig post worthy wall backgrounds. I love how everything is PINK! The service was very fast, maybe took 3 minutes to make. Coffee Girl is no doubt one of the coffee spots Hilo can boast about although it wasn't super…read moreimpressive in my opinion. This, however, is not to say that it doesn't have charms in it. Mostly in mint color, the interior is simple and yet it does emit a lot of cuteness. What was eye catching to us was the swing inside at one of the side windows. Whether it's okay for a person to actually sit on it to enjoy a little swing time is something I didn't find out from the young lady who manned the upfront bar by herself, if it's solely as a decorative piece to create the kind of ambiance this place suits to manifest, it does do a lot to attract visitors' attention. The lady was quiet and yet kind enough to give us everything we needed for the late morning walk into the town. My daughter and I wanted to split quads of espresso shots so that was our only order and yet we needed two separate cups with lots of ice in each cup with a little side cream (half and half) so we could make our own iced latte or cappuccino later (we didn't want ice immediately after the espresso was made as it would have diluted the coffee had it been made that way. Sounded like it was a little too much to ask which we felt a bit awkward. The kind lady simply did everything for us. Thanks to her for being so accommodating to our demanding needs!!) The shop is located from other businesses oceanfront so it's walkable to other things as long as you are talking "the center of Hilo". So for the location, convenience, cute ambiance and patience in service, we enjoyed our quick pick up experience while we were in town.

The decor looks great in there. The desserts look good too. Here we go now…read more.. Keep in mind I pay close attention to detail - The merchandise out in the front of the store needs to be taken better care of. Some of them aren't doing so good. - It honestly didn't smell pleasant in there. I'm not sure if it was just that day but it didn't smell nice that's for sure. - Walked in, only one other customer in there. Worker looks directly at me and stares like I'm an inconvenience. No greeting, no wave, not even a smile. We actually had to be the ones to smile and tell the employee "Hi!" - We walked up to the counter and still no hospitality of something like "how can I help you?" "First time here?" "How are you today?" Etc. - She uncomfortably stared at us as we looked at the menu. Not even looking at it for a solid 30 seconds and says "Let me know if you have questions" then walks away. -We did buy a single dessert because we were already there. After purchase there's no "Thank you" "Have a nice day" it seems like having business was a pain. - The utensils on the side aren't wrapped and all loosely in a container with the fork and spoons handle in first. To me that's unsanitary already, other people's hands are touching it. Dust will also definitely accumulate as old ones won't be switched out just keep getting more added in there. I'll give this place another chance but how our first trip went I'd really like to give it a 0/5. All in all we didn't feel welcomed in there.

This restaurant is located in a former Pizza Hut building across the KTA grocery store. You can…read moretell because of the Pizza Hut architecture. We chose booth seating in the corner. The waitress spoke really soft and was cool and collected. I ordered the fried chicken thighs with Lilikoi sauce, brown rice, and a side salad. My husband got the lite bite curry with brown rice and a side salad. Water and coffee were served in custom White Guava tumblers. We each got a Hawaiian roll with a delicious Lilikoi butter. To my surprise, the side salad was a full generous portion, not the tiny side salad that restaurants usually give. It was a proper salad with fresh local greens, sliced cucumbers, carrots, tomatoes, and another white shredded vegetable that I think was radish. My chicken was delicious and the portion of that was generous as well. I tasted my husband's curry but didn't really like the flavor. It was different, like a sweeter flavor than other curries I've tried before. Overall, I'd definitely come back. I enjoyed the large salad and all the Lilikoi things - butter, dressing, and sauce.

But they literally had so many boxes stored there, like they're in the middle of something and this is the only place with room. In the kitchen, there's stacks of pans, like there's no storage room in there either. Fine, whatever. We order chicken sandwich with no cheese and a salad and one teri burger, but they're out. Ok, fine, get a regular cheese burger with pepper Jack cheese and side fries. Then we realize that we're running out of time, and ask to get the food to go - OUR BAD. We go up after the server asks the cook to package our food for take out, and you'd swear we just canceled the order. He started throwing our food in boxes and the boxes on the counter. MY GUY, IT WAS NOT BUSY. one table was as waiting to be seated and no one else was waiting on food. I get it, he could be having a bad day, or his cat is sick, but like, it's an open kitchen. So then, we get to our food. The buns were with the meat, causing both of our buns to be soggy, like falling apart. I get it. He could have packaged it all differently, but I know those to-go containers are not the greatest for the environment, so that must have been the factor. But the beef patty and chicken... they were large, so we were really looking forward to them. But they were so bland. Not even salt or pepper, no sauce, garlic powder, nothing. I couldn't even chop up the chicken for my salad, as I was only given a singular half ounce container of dressing. They do have Girl Scout cookies for sale, and I'm sure those would be fine.
