It was a little tough to find the entrance to it but we eventually figured it out. We bought tickets online the evening prior and handed them in at the desk in the lobby. Edificio Altino offers more than just panoramic views of the city. On various floors in the building, you'll see art installations. There's an indoor skate park. The lobby is ornate. You can easily spend a few hours here exploring. Do it for the views and the art. It's a nice double whammy.

This avenue has more in common with Wall Street. It is mostly made of office buildings of financial and political orgnaizations. There is some shopping to be found here, but this is a place where you'll mainly see locals in business attire. It is still an impressive looking street with all of the skyscrapers that line it. And one place that really stands out architecturally and is worth a visit is the Sao Paulo Museum of Art. It is only 1.7 miles and I found it plesant to walk to the whole length to experience the sights and sounds of this huge city.

There are homeless people that would try to approach you and ask you for money but don't fret, the police is everywhere so they leave you alone. It has everything from cheeses, cold cuts, fruits, vegetables, desserts, olives, pastries, pastel, Brazilian souvenirs, alcohol, spices, candy, fish and seafood, Persian food, meats, etc. There are food stalls, snack shops, bars, and restaurants inside the market. There are plenty of ATMs but most shops take credit cards. The market itself is open daily from 6am to 6pm. Individual shops may have different hours so check before coming here. It's been open since 1933 as São Paulo's main grocery store. High ceiling means it's cooler and has more ventilation. Don't forget to look up to see the stained glass windows.
