The Yellow Rose Florist

I picked the right florist! I ordered a funeral arrangement when my friend's father passed away. I…read morelive in Wisconsin, and the funeral was in Memphis, Tennessee. They sent a snapshot of the flowers before they delivered the arrangement--this was such a nice touch! Cindy was wonderful--kind and compassionate! I sent a photo of what I wanted. The Yellow Rose Florist worked with their local supply house to find the most beautiful calla lilies and irises--precisely what I wanted. I will post a photo, because these flowers are just that stunning! These folks really live their faith! They should be proud of their work. I wish them continued success. I had been looking for a florist since I fell out of love with Krogers floral department before…read moreChristmas. I happened on several florists in OB area and after talking to a few I was certain that customer service was truly a dead art. The Yellow Rose changed my mind. After a great conversation and discussion of Valentines for Mom and Mom in law I settled on The Kyndall (deluxe) and A Mothers Love (deluxe). I scheduled pick up for Tuesday. I was greeted promptly even though there were a few people in store and I was acknowledged as the two people in front of me were taken care of. I met the real Kyndall that the flowers were named and after the care instructions were explained she helped me to my car. The care taken from order to assembly to final sale was very evident. The arrangements are lush, well balanced and thoughtfully arranged. I look forward to using my new florist.

I have gone and will continue to go here to find interesting, useful, high-quality gifts for people who live outside the unique little world of the Arkansas Delta. I especially love the Peter's Pottery pieces, having long been a McCarty's fan (I'm sure I will offend lovers of both by refusing to choose a favorite!). I have also been impressed with the selection of local artwork for sale in the store. The storefront, decor, and staff are warm and inviting and just chic enough to make you wonder if you are still on the edge of rural Arkansas.
