Finally found someone to ask and she gave me directions to the hidden hall where the show was to be performed. I checked in with the staff there since we had tickets waiting at Will Call and my husband got us drinks. What's great about this place is the drinks are so dang cheap compared to a bar downtown or even a restaurant bar. The beer was cold and the mixed drinks didn't skip on the alcohol. The show was great! And the people (mostly regulars who are members) we're all great company.

I have been a neighbor of this complex for over seven years. For the first four years I had good…read moreexperiences with this Legion Post, including being a member myself (I am a n honorably discharged Air Force veteran of four years of active duty). That has not been the case over the last three years with dealing with spilled over trash containers, monthly feed feasts where vistors block the entrance to the driveway to my home. Motorcycle rallies at all hours of the day and night especially at the early hours of the morning. Beer cans and bottles throw all over the street, their property and everyone's property on this death end street that is next to this legion post. In addition to all of this my property has been impacted by their post building an illegal commercial building on a residential lot directly across from my home. The City of Gun Barrel took partial responsibility for this building build there without authority, but even after three years has refused to take any action to correct the error on their parts as well as the Legion taking steps to show responsibility to their neighbors on this street. Overall this Legion Post represents the worse of such post in our fair state of Texas.

I like it when the money I use to go out works just as much as I do (LOL) it goes towards a worthwhile cause. They have a full bar, pool and shuffleboard tables. They have a dancehall in back where they hold events, dances, anniversaries and others. All in all it's just a great place to hang out! Have a coffee, Coke or beer.
