The also had a raffle for gifts at the end for the kids. They also provided snacks and something to drink at the end as well. The kiddos got a little medal after completing with a certificate for a ice cream cone and we got a gift certificate to use at their thrift store. The overall experience was great. However, this place holds up their mission! When I pulled up, the line was 1/4 of the way around the building. There were volunteers assisting the patrons, and also helped me figure out where I donate. They were friendly and they were interacting with the patrons in a very respectful manor. The entire system with entering the facility seemed to run like a well-oiled machine. The donation area had neat bins clearly labeled. I was greeted by John and handed over donuts I had picked up for the volunteers as a thank you. I interacted with 3 of the volunteers who were all so gracious and I could not praise this charitable organization enough! The goats might trick you into thinking you're their best friend, but in reality they just want your treats. The babies are so lovable.
