SORRY EXCUSE FOR A COMPANY. I was cut off this morning by a driver who was in the right turn only lane while I was in the straight away lane. After he nearly clips my car he blows into the next lane and almost hits someone else! So I called their "company" and told them the situation. The class act working on the phone told me "that's why your not a cab driver sir." Are you kidding me?! So then he proceeds to tell me if I have an issue, I should "call 911." I wasn't going to tie up the emergency phone lines with something that could have been resolved by simply taking what I said, and discussing it with the driver that was being wreck-less, SIMPLE. So I asked to speak to a supervisor and he said, "that's not going to happen." Honestly? What kind of company is this? Honestly, I've never spoken to a person so rude or out of touch with reality. I would be VERY nervous to order a cab through this sorry excuse for a company. They are obviously sketchy, unreliable, and completely selfish. I know for a fact this place won't be in business much longer with that kind of attitude. I highly recommend if you need a cab to go through yellow car, they are much more courteous and helpful when I've needed a cab in the past. read more

I have mixed feelings. I've used Veterans for a couple months, and had the same route and the same driver on all but one trip. This driver has been courteous, honest, and helpful. Most recently, however, I had another driver whose behavior was so off the wall I feel compelled to mention it. This driver sat in the car and did not even offer to open the cargo bay (this was a grocery pickup) He then ignored my directions and went completely off-route. At the time he was apologetic and promised to adjust the meter. Instead, he left the meter on while I unloaded, so the final total was nearly triple my usual fare. When I asked him to adjust, he offered to knock off an amount so small the fare was still more than twice the usual amount, and when i pointed this out, he blamed me for the wrong turns, argued about the distance, and told me the extra meter time was for "wasting his time." Edit: after giving them a few more tries, I have received consistently decent service, and I have not encountered the driver from hell again. They still lose a couple stars for dirty/smelly vehicles and other minor annoyances. read more

I whistled for a cab, but it never came near.. Called for a cab, they said 30min and it never showed. I called again and they said it'd be 30min. As a result, I was charged for a night of storage - car is at a local mechanic. Uber in the morning for less :) read more

A company that lets such a rude, inconsiderate, miserable human being be the voice of their business is not a company I want to associate myself with. My friends and got a cab from Ypsi to Ann Arbor and called early enough because we figured it would be a busy Friday night. The dispatcher gave us no time estimate. The driver came with no heads up, so we had to rush out of the house. 2 min after I got out of the cab I realized that my debit card and ID had fallen out. Knowing the driver didn't get far, I called immediately. I told the guy that I dropped my cards and he goes "of course you did" and mumbled something in audible. EXCUSE ME?! He then asked me where I got dropped off at but I couldn't hear him because it was loud outside the club, so he repeated it like I was mentally disabled. He then said he'll send him back and then hung up. The ONLY reason why I didn't go off on him is because he seemed like the type of a**hole who wouldn't even tell the driver to come back if I got snippy with him. I will never get Veterans cab again. The positive thing I can say is that the van was clean and the driver was decent. I'll pay the extra cash and get Yellow Cab. Great customer service and our driver on the way home was so cool. read more

We called for a ride from Canton into Ypsi. They showed up a bit late but they were the only cab company in the area who would do it, not counting ABC from Livonia who wanted 90$ each way. Cab was full of the cabbie's cigarette smoke too. Yuck. We were glad to not have to designate our own driver though, so it was worth the money. read more

Several times i have called for a cab and not received one. They don't call you when they arrive, expecting that you will be waiting outside for an hour in the dead of winter in Michigan for a cab ride.. The only redeeming quality i can say about them is that they helped push me into downloading the UBER app and realizing its way better than the cab situations around here. Thanks veterans! read more

I called for a cab from the dentist, giving them plenty of time before my husband was done with his surgery. The grumpy guy who answered gave me no time frame for when the taxi might come. 45 minutes later, I was so annoyed that I called and cancelled. The guy couldn't care less. I called Yellow Car and they arrived in ten minutes. I won't make that mistake ever again. read more

THIS CAB SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. Last night, me and my friends called them from Ypsi and asked if they could take us to Ann Arbor, and they said yes and that they would be there soon. After 30 minutes had gone by, I called back and politely asked if our cab was on the way or if there was an issue, and they said that there was no issue and the cab would be there soon. 20 minutes later, still no cab. I called again and this time asked if we should call another cab or if it was on the way, and they said, once again, that it would be there in a few minutes. 20 more minutes went by and no cab showed up. Me and my friends had to call our place of work, which conveniently has delivery, and ask them to please come get us...at 2am in Ypsi. It was TERRIBLE. NEVER USE VETERAN'S CAB. read more

Talked to a guy that answered the phone and asked if they pick up at the Detroit airport - he said NO. I asked him politely if he knew of a good service that could pick me up at the airport and he said in a smartASS tone of voice, "there are 900 cabs and just get into one of them" - I asked who he recommended and he said, "I hope you find a cheap taxi" - TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - they suk! read more

This company sucks! The dispatcher they have is the worst I've ever encountered! He's rude and unprofessional. I called today to request a cab to go to work. The dispatcher never gave me a time estimate but I thought I had plenty of time because I called for the cab 2 hours before I had to be there. So after an hour had gone by, I called to ask about the ETA, the dispatcher answered and said they sent a cab out to my house but it was an abandoned house then left!!! They didn't call, honk, or even attempt to notify me! I said to the dispatcher " well thanks for the advanced notice" and he said "I shouldn't have to give you a notice, you called for a cab so you should have been on the look out" it's November! It's cold outside, I am not going to wait outside for a cab ride that will cost me nearly $40! I didn't get to work today because they mislead me. If I could leave a negative rating I would. I call to get a health care aid a ride to my house so I could go the bathroom and get into bed. The grumpy old man who answered the phone would not answer my question hung up on me several times and refused to let me talk. Telling me if he wanted to be nagged he would go home to his old lady. I do not care about his personal issues but expected the business to be professional. I had no choice but to sleep in my wheelchair that night and in my own feces...Completely humiliated. read more
