We found this place when we were looking for the best orthopedist for our dog. MVDr.Hnízdo (who is…read morealso the owner of this clinic) was recommended by more vets who we know so we decided to try it.
The clinic is placed at the edge of Prague at Bílá Hora. It´s modern, clean, with a big front yard, reception and big waiting room. Equipment is on very high level. Generally speaking first impression was very good.
Mr.Hnízdo is a very skilled vet. Operation went very well and so was the rehabilitation. The only confusing thing was (but only at the begining, than we set up some rules for cooperation) that we got results of check-ups (those before operation) only on the paper and CD without any explanation or option of asking any questions. And there were many shortcuts and professional terms. So this got better during our next sessions and I have to say that he has a really good customer approach.
I can´t say this about some other employes of the clinic. Some nurses or vets are not really customer or animal friendly, which I don´t really understand. For example yelling at your puppy to calm down doesn´t really make a good sense. It´s a puppy, of course it´s still scared of certain things, for god´s sake. Yelling doesn´t help. Or they are not so skilled. For example they didn´t know how to properly place plaster on the leg. After some not really pleasant experiences we decided to talk only to Mr. Hnízdo.
So the evaluation could be divided into two parts. Five stars for owner, equipment and enviroment (building, rooms etc.). Three stars for other vets and nurses, because not all of them are bad. And also prices are pretty high. All and all four stars.
