Such a beautiful restaurant. Gina was our server and she was fantastic! She answered all of our questions and saved me from ordering a drink I most likely would not have enjoyed. She gently steered me in the right direction for my taste. I ordered the cranberry and orange juice spritzer which was delicious. I also ordered one of their specials which was the red snapper. Everything on my plate was cooked and seasoned perfectly. My husband ordered the Chicken Siciliano. I don't have pictures because he was too impatient to wait and dug right into his dish which looked absolutely decadent. We were both very pleased with our entrées. We shared a piece of their flourless chocolate cake. I can't stop thinking about it and wish I had ordered one to go. Vespucci Restaurant in Cheshire is the perfect spot for a family dinner, date night, or eating out with your friends. They have a lot to choose from and as you can see they have gluten free options that will not disappoint. There are three different parking lots you can choose to park... plenty of spots. You might want to make reservations online or over the phone if you're looking to dine out on a typical busy night. I can't wait to go back and hope we get Gina again! Well done as always!

Good service, good food, good atmosphere. Specials were good. I'd recommend the salads. Huge and delicious. Waitress was very pleased and prices couldn't be beat.

my first time here. had the best server, wish i could remember her name. she was a doll. nice variety on the menu from apps to desserts. my dad suggested this place after spending an entire day in new haven trying to organize some reno materials for reno work. he ordered the puttanesca, & omg. finally somebody who gets this right. my stomach was acting up so i had chicken tortellin soup. they did it right because the tortellini was not falling apart in the soup. i only tasted his puttenesca & it was perfect. i cant tell you how many lackluster dishes ive had of this in other places. it's the balance of capers, anchovies, KALAMATA olives which everyone seems to overlook, was a PERFECT blend. the staff were all very friendly. & meal was delicious. next time Id like to bring a better appetite, bec everything that was passing us looked delicious! the stuffed shells looked amazing.

The seating in this restaurant is hit and miss. You may get lucky and get a booth or you may get a table in the line of bathroom traffic or you may have to deal with a server standing too close to your table to wait on another. We never received our appetizer, but the food we received was nothing to write home about. The server never really checked on us or asked us if we needed anything or would like another beverage. I wouldn't go back.

Every couple of years we give this place a try but always remember why we don't come here as often. We just do not love it, but it's not horrible! We got the arancini to start, it was very good. The bread was so good with the dipping oil, and the side salads were a good size, fresh and tasty. Then the meals - the chicken Parmesan was ok, a little skimpy on the meat compared to other places. This is a preferred meal wherever we go so we critique it. The taste was ok, but something about the sauce, just wasn't there for us. Next, the stuffed shrimp - large shrimp and really stuffed. Very salty, and the stuffing tasted like Stove Top. The service was excellent and our waitress was very nice. It's a very clean restaurant and overall nice environment. The takeout was jamming so obviously the locals are supporting this restaurant! Maybe we need to try something else on the menu!

As an international boarding student nearby this is my second dining hall. I love the food here so much that I will come here twice a week though it cost so much. I mean take a look at the pictures. it is just so delicious. If I say Vespucci's is the ranked second restaurant in Cheshire, nobody dares to claim that they are the best. The service is also really nice, they will check to refill your drink every time they pass by. The seats seems there is not a big room for you to sit in but it's actually very comfortable because it's a sofa and you got plenty of legroom. But one thing, one thing that I wouldn't really want to give it a five star because sometimes, for example, a Saturday evening, this place will get so overcrowded that you will even wait like 30 minutes to take your order. But I say it's worth waiting and I give it a five star because I want everyone to know that this is the best restaurant in Cheshire.

I repeat told me to hurry up and order because the kitchen closes at three. Talk about pressure! So I ordered miso soup, a devil roll, and a Pepsi. So as I'm sitting in my booth, waiting for the food to be prepared, and I was keeping an eye on the sushi, chef, he sneezed. OK, I hope he wiped his hands and none of that crap went into the sushi roll he was making. Anyways, out came the soda and the miso soup. The miso soup was served in a plastic bowl about 3/4 of the way up. Also included was a plastic soup spoon. Looking around, this place was decent inside. Why would they be serving in plastic bowls with plastic utensils? This made no sense but OK. Out came the devil roll, and it looked like sushi, except it had this weird red spam like texture stuff on the top of it. I had no clue what it was. I ate it, but it was barely edible and seeing it was 14.95 , I wasn't about to send it back. So the two waitresses kept staring at me like saying hurry up hurry up hurry, hurry hurry And all my 65+ years on this earth I never felt so rushed.. These waitresses were not friendly. As soon as I was finished it looked like the manager, came over and immediately cleaned the table. She didn't give me the best looks either. Anyways, the food was decent the price decent, but the help, be prepared to be attacked by soup Nazis This definitely won't be a place I'll return to. Manners, Sushi House, manners!

Everyone ordered what they wanted . Shared sushi and apps. The restaurant is small with enough table to seat others . When we walked in , it was very quiet! Where was the music?! Everyone can hear your conversation. It was that quiet. The menu offered apps, sushi, salad, noodles,Entrees, desserts and drinks( alcoholic) . One thing that was a disappointment was that staff is not fully knowledgeable about gluten allergies or the term gluten free. Our waitress didn't know what gluten free was. Also, when I ordered one of the rolls there was discrepancy in 2 of the menus on the description. I didn't realize until after. One did not say there would be crunchy things in it . The other said it did. I noticed after consuming and tasting something crunchy in the roll. That roll was shared will all my friends so luckily even though I ordered it I didn't consume it all . It was busy , the order of sushi was good and fresh .

My all time favorites are Beef Udon, and Potato Tempura besides the sushi. I am a sucker for aesthetics so when my first round came on a wooden tray, well, I'm sold for life. There is nothing like being served food on actual serving dishes rather than disposables during the height of COVID. This is a yay for me! Sushi is always delicious. You can mix and match between the sushi bar and the kitchen items or make a combo. I would recommend ordering another set when nearly finishing the first, conscientious of how much more you can eat so that you aren't waiting for a time, or, get some tea or a bit of sake. Servers are absolutely friendly. Wave for assistance if needed. Thank you for running this business for as long as you have!

Specifically, I took inspiration from DaymDrops, a YouTuber I watch pretty regularly, and more specifically, I decided to follow his idea of visiting the worst restaurants and then typing their own review of the place after their visit to try their food. According to my search on Yelp, this buffet was rated the worst restaurant in Waterbury, a rating of 2.1 before my coming to visit, so I slid on over and see what they were hitting on. Upon arrival, I was greeted and seated right away. In fact, right after I was seated, my waitress came over to ask what I wanted to drink. I decided to keep it simple with Mountain Dew. I am saving my alcohol intake until next weekend when I stay the night in Brooklyn. I then went to serve myself food because I was quite hungry when I walked in. We can break this down into 3 plates. Plate #1 - Spare ribs, garlic bread, General Tso's chicken, and corn. The winners here was the garlic bread and the corn. The corn was buttery and delightful, and then the garlic bread had a nice crunch and really good taste. Because of how hungry I was, the piece of garlic bread was already half-eaten by the time I came around to taking a picture of it. The spare ribs weren't bad, basically your typical run-of-the-mill Chinese boneless spare ribs if I'm being honest. The General Tso's though seems to be missing the mark in Chinese joints nowadays, and this one was no exception. As I ate more into my plate, I began to notice the shortcomings the food here had, and it started with this. The breading was completely soggy as I ate into my last few pieces of it. A good General Tso's chicken should be able to coat the breading without making it soggy, and this one didn't do it for me. Plate #2 - Sesame balls, fried shrimp, crab rangoon, and crinkle-cut fries. Out of this plate, the crab rangoon stood out as the best. The filling did not feel skimped on whatsoever when I bit into it, and the crab and cheese in these pastries really help make the tastes here come alive. The fries weren't too bad, and same with the shrimp. It did however taste like I was eating a forkful of sodium with every bite though, so make sure you are able to get your refills when eating these things. The sesame ball however was not very good. The problem here was the filling. It had an odd taste to it that just didn't really sit right with me. Maybe I'm just not the target audience for those kinds of things? Before I continue on, I must note to you that as I went for my third plate, I noticed a worker dumping some of the eggs from a near-empty container into a new batch of eggs. Therefore, be very mindful that you may not be getting fresh food if you decided to pop-up here! Plate #3 - The dessert plate. The cream puffs were pillowy and delicious. The cake offerings weren't too bad either, and I liked the chocolate pudding also. The cookie though was hard. Not enough that it will crack the teeth right out of your mouth, but hard enough that they were probably in their last moments before descending into stalehood. The fried powdered bread was alright, but nothing to write home about. Now I will agree with other reviewers that the carpets were indeed dirty as my eyes wandered around. However, they're the kind of dirty you can fix with some daily cleaning after the closing shift. Maybe give it a good vacuum before you lock up for the night kind of deal. I will also note that going to the bathroom needs improvement. If you go into the handicap stall, you basically need to be Mr. Fantastic or Elastigirl if you need toilet paper with where they decided to put it. Don't count on the hand dryer to work either. I tried to use it and it didn't run, so I had to resort to paper towels. However, if you took a look at the decorations, it's aesthetically pleasing, almost a sight for sore eyes. The ceiling above the food in particular was vibrant. There's nothing I can really complain about on that front. Oh, and the bill is not bad for an all-you-can-eat. Once taxes and other expenses were applied, my bill came out to $21.20. If you've had a lot of food, then this can definitely be seen as a bargain. All in all, this place is fine to eat at if you are running on an empty stomach. However, the more you eat, the more you might not like the food you self-serve. I think for what it is, a 3 is the right rating here.
