The beers are always very solid, tasty brews; not the most unique styles but they satisfy my craft beer cravings. The menu also includes some small food plates (I haven't tried them yet) and some liquor and non-alcoholic drinks. If you like whiskey, they have a few good options for pretty cheap prices. I think I had a double of Glen 12 for €4? A definite must if you're a beer lover in Friedrichshain!

There are chairs outside the whole year 'round. They do events and will close off the place for you, which makes for a great way to celebrate a birthday - they also have special football (soccer) events. The staff is friendly and it's only a short distance away from the Rosenthaler Platz U-bahn station. Recommended! Sorry Hamburg folks, they don't serve Astra.
