The owner has a superiority…read morecomplex & will block anyone on Facebook that gives him a low rating or comments an opinion he disagrees with. He claims to publish all opinion pieces but has a history of taking down those articles once they've been published for a week or two. Many of the articles he publishes are narrow minded and extremely conservative. He does not filter very much out when that view is far right. Would not recommend business with this newspaper. I haven't supported it for years.

For…read moreexample, don't use children's photos to go along with a politically charged "news" story demonizing undocumented immigrants (hey--AP style doesn't support the use of illegal immigrants anymore, might want to check that out). Second, if you are representing a town of mostly Hispanic folks, you should have some decency and respect for them--since most of them are your demographic, but none of them buy your newspaper since you chose to target them regularly in a negative way. Also, perhaps just work on learning the difference between news and opinion. It seems like those lines are very blurred. Aim to be more like Associated Press rather than Fox News, I'd say. I know you're clinging to the notion that you're an almighty power, since you're the only newspaper in Liberal, but you know, the newspaper industry is quickly dying, and honestly people can find much better and well written news on the KSCB news website. Seek to be better and accept wrong and apologize instead of attacking others and victimizing yourself.
