She recommended a nasal endoscopy to avoid large expenses from other imaging as if the endoscopy was routine and free. Weeks later I received a bill for over $1,000 after insurance. The bill also had a fee for a doctor that I never saw. The billing department said because I signed a form I agreed to all the billing, and that the bill included the doctor becuase the nurse practioner couldn't be listed even though she was listed on a separate section. In the end, the medical issue is still unresolved, and I am now out over a grand. Do NOT use PennMed's ENT, Tara Weaver CRPN, or Dr. James Kearney. From other reviews it looks like the endoscopy fees are routinely made to sound as if they are included in the basic visit, but actually cost extra.

Saw him last month to check up my throat. I felt something near my throat and super worried and decided to get check up with specialist. It was the first time there and he made sure there was nothing to be concerned about. I was fine. Just fighting with cold for a month gave me little swollen around my throat. He did not even charge me for all those exams he did because there was nothing wrong with my throat. What a amazing sprit I have not experienced for a very long time. Overall staffs in his office were super efficient and nice as well. And I am recommending him to everyone who need to see nose and throat specialist. 5 stars.

Dr. Nyquist was assigned to me because I was told he was top in his field. From my first visit I felt comfortable that I was in such great hands. Dr. Nyquist and the entire staff are kind and compassionate while performing the highest level of individualized care. I required surgery and today was my last post-op appointment. My surgery was a complete success and I don't suffer from all the issues that plagued me for over ten years. I can't thank Dr. Nyquist enough for giving me back a better quality of life. I would recommend him to anyone who suffers from any Ear, Nose or Throat problem....he truly is the BEST!

Before performing the procedure he asked if it was covered by my insurance, and then said they would take care of it wasn't covered. He only prescribed the appropriate medicine after I respectfully disagreed with his diagnoses (I did not fill the prescription for the antacid he prescribed). He thoroughly explains procedures and brought it to my attention that I had a nodule on my thyroid which my previous ENT did not bother to mention. The nodule turned out to be cancer which was diagnosed after Dr. Pribitkin performed surgery to remove my thyroid. I am extremely grateful that he is my ENT.

He then solved it by having my head lower than my body and repositioning my head so that whatever was in my ears effecting my balance and giving me vertigo would cease doing so. I was highly skeptical, but it worked 100%. To this day I have never had another dizzy spell thnx to Dr. Kearney.

Wide eyed and bushy tailed, I walked into my initial consultation several years ago and inquired about breast implants. I was determined to not have scars (shame on me for not doing more research; however, I trusted the "professionals"). They're great until something goes wrong or you are unhappy. First of all, under the armpit incisions are not the best way to go about putting something into the chest cavity. I mentioned I had some nerve damage and couldn't feel my entire arm down to my pinky for a year post procedure and was told this was caused by something else (not true) it was nerve damage from the implants, which has left me with numbness and arm pain to this day. The implants were also slightly squished after getting an MRI and were too large for my body as a whole. Almost immediately after I had this procedure, I experienced a wide array of symptoms, starting with the nerve damage, numbness and hair loss. I was a bodybuilder prior to the procedure and afterwards, could not do push ups or chest workouts anymore due to the damage they caused. The implant would freeze and almost cramp on the side I had issues with. After three years of Breast Implant Illness symptoms and nearly my entire body shutting down, I knew I had to do something after ruling nearly everything else out. I called and asked if Dr. Lo did implant removal and was told I could come in for a consultation. At this point, I was desperate to just have my life back. It was so bad that I could barely walk some days - from brain inflammation, to mitochondrial damage, hair loss, food allergies, brain fog, the list goes - Breast Implant Illness IS REAL. I went in for my consultation and was nearly in tears because I could hardly function and never knew what the day would bring only to have Dr. Lo smirk and mock what I was telling him. I said "are you mocking me?" And he stated he is a traditional doctor and treats symptoms. He said he could do the removal then back tracked and referred me to someone else (who I did not go to because any referral from a Doctor who mocks and laughs at you in a time of need is not one I would trust). His bedside manner during a time of distress and desperation was deplorable. My mother was in the room with me and she was nearly in tears afterward with the way he spoke and belittled my reality. I am floored that this is the way he treated someone who simply wanted to know the options for removal. There are tens of thousands of women whose bodies reject implants and if a doctor is too ignorant to recognize this then I would walk the other way. I would never recommend him to anyone. I ended up having them removed with a doctor in Bucks County and finally have my life back. YES the SYMPTOMS that you claim to "treat" have diminished and some completely disappeared already. If you treat "symptoms" then understand THE IMPLANTS were the issue because I feel like a human being again and everything has nearly gone away six months later. Wake up to the reality that implants are not safe and check your bedside manner.
