The staff was super kind and the animals were so cute! I never saw so many baby animals until today! The animals definitely seem happy here with the big spaces.

Those were by far the most exotic and cool animal to view. The mapping of this place is crazy. Awful location. It's right on a hill and it's all uphill or downhill. The zoo is also incredibly hard to navigate and I couldn't get out for a bit! The aquarium is disappointing. Overall, I feel like this zoo needs to step up its mapping within the park so people know where they are going and also need to bring some new attractions to the zoo.

A gorgeous village located onto top of a hill overlooking the Meran valley. This is a place of…read morehistorical significance in the area as it has a lot of old buildings and a few castles nearby. The tour books have this place listed as a must visit and it's not hard to see why. Walk around this gorgeous village and take a walk to the castle and St Peters cathedral. Also from this place you can take a cable car up hill and do some other longer walks in the area. I would love to explore this area more and will definitely be back for some long windy walks through gorgeous scenery and old villages. The Wineweg is only by name. Don't expect any wineries here mostly just vineyards and lots of grape plantations but no places to stop and try :-(
