Xfinity of Manahawkin not only discriminates against women but they're rude while not knowing what…read morethey're doing. I went in to get a replacement phone to find out that they had canceled my account and allowed my husband to come in without my permission to open a new account then when I told them I didn't give any permission they refused to help me rectify the problem and with every single thing that went wrong for me they began smiling bigger and bigger with each misfortune and started giving each other high fives and making jokes about us in front of us instead of helping. We called corporate 3 separate times and they continued to tell us they have no idea why this location refused to help me when I did in fact have access to replacement devices on my account I pay for. We eventually had to file a formal complaint due to the lack of customer service and the disgusting behavior of people who are supposed to be trained in customer service and deescalation but even the manager seemed to ENJOY a customer in distress. Absolutely disgusting behavior from Stephan specifically with how he spoke to us and about us and we're taking our business elsewhere because the people specifically at this location. Horrible experience and I don't recommend going in here with a problem unless you want to be made fun of and poked fun at extensively.

And don't get me started on their Mobile Service. Four excruciating hours there to just end up back with my original provider. Don't fall for their BULL. The CS Reps are unknowledgeable, unpleasant and rude. Unfortunately they are the only game in town and Comcast is the monopoly. Stick a fork in me...I'm done...Dish here I come.

If I could give this establishment, zero stars are minus stars I definitely would. I was on the…read morephone with tech-support for two hours two days ago. They told me to go into the store show them that my phone was not broken or cracked, and they would start the process of replacing it. I repeatedly asked them if they were certain it would be free because I did not have insurance. They assured me it was I went into the Verizon store Manahawkin yesterday and had the worst customer experience of my life. They told me they could not do anything for me. They could've replaced the phone. They didn't know why they told me to come in here and then they walked away and left me in the store with no one on the floor. I was appalled. A young woman came out, and I asked her where her manager was she handed and hard long story short. She finally told me her manager would be back, told me his name and then "so why do you want to know? He's not going to do anything for you" I explained the problem that I had and I said I was hoping that a manager would be able to help. She was unnecessarily rude. When I called back later in the afternoon and spoke to the manager, he didn't want to tell me the names of the people that I spoke to at the time I was on the phone with Verizon Customer Service supervisor and she was supposed to be writing up a report. The manager finally gave me the young lady's name, but didn't offer any reasonable explanation for the treatment. I asked Customer Service to be escalated to the executive department because I really thought they should know what happened. Apparently they say they cannot do that. They're really sad part about the whole thing is that they could have up charged me to a new phone easily went to Apple turns out there's nothing wrong with my phone. It's Verizon network that's all screwed up. Needless to say after over 20 years with Verizon. I am going to a different carrier.

The sales person, who wouldn't even tell me his name, had an attitude from the moment I walked in the door despite the fact that I was the only customer. He was unable/unwilling to assist me and outright rude. I wanted to purchase a new phone and after 2 visits, left without one. There was an issue with the account which he only exacerbated and could offer no solution. After my second visit, he refused to even provide me with a customer service number so I could see if I could get the account 'unstuck.' The following day, I went to the Victra Verizon store in Toms River where the problem was resolved by a compassionate, knowledgeable sales person. Within 30 minutes, I had a new phone. If you need a new phone, I would highly recommend making the drive off the island!

I wanted to return a product and was told "don't worry if you can't get here in the 30 day return window, it's ok we will still take it back". I go after the 30 days and was told they can't take it back but they will talk to the manager. 2nd time I go back and I am told the manager will refund me and he will call me. No call. 3rd time I go back and they take my number again. No call. I reach out today and I'm told too much time has passed and they won't refund me. Maybe if the manager showed up I could've gotten this wrapped up sooner. Terrible customer experience.

If I could give 0 I would, I was working this morning when a comcast employee came in for a…read morescheduled service to install two new cable boxes at our establishment. Upon arrival I said oh you must be here for the cable installation to which he responded you know more than I do why I am here, weird! So I brought him out to the spot where he was going to be installing the cable box too which he informed me he could not do because the TVs were not mounted yet, I said oh I did not realize, I am a 22 year old female and he said do you even know how to do this you will have to hold the TV up for me the entire time I work on it. I said that is not realistic so then I showed him he TV which was in an isolated electrical closet and he continued alone with me saying "I could watch you hold up the TV all day" then proceeded to ask when I get off work and he wants to take me to lunch and he will give me his number to which I responded absolutely not and you need to leave I have a boyfriend. Now that situation was inappropriate and unprofessional enough, I brought it to my manager's attention when he arrived, of course he was shocked and agreed it was extremely inappropriate. He called Comcast to address the situation, was put on hold for over an hour and the supervisor refused to talk to him saying, not my problem call the police. If this is the type of employee behavior that Comcast allows I would never let them near my home or business. Disgusting, and he never even completed the job he came to do!

I'm compelled to relate my experience at the T-Moble store in Manahawkin NJ. Rarely does one deal…read morewith product misrepresentation, unethical business practice and condescending customer service. The notable highlights of my week dealing with this business beginning February 7. The store manager sold me a phone but said I had to take a free apple as well. She failed to disclose watch line charges of $26 per month, telling me it was free. Without my permission or knowledge added premium insurance to my phone. When my bill increase $50 she told me it was due to mid month plan changes. T-Mobile said the increase was due to the unscrupulously added fees. T-Mobile told me to return the watch. Your manager told me restocking was $75 however T-Mobile said it should be $20. When prompted to speak with T-Mobile the manager ran into a closet and said she was in a meeting. Initially smiling and pleasant, when caught in the lies her attitude was rude and condescending. The company T-Mobile team always provides outstanding service however you really need to review 3rd party performance which as you can see is abysmal.

I was there to upgrade my phone and my daughter's phone and the so-called manager claimed that she could save me a bunch of money but by doing that she made me lose some of my services and also told me that I had to take two tablets which I would never use. After investigating the new plan, I did switch back to the old plan and returned the tablets to the store and she told me that I was making a mistake. I also asked her when I got my daughter's phone, who is away at school so I will be bringing it to her to complete her transfer, if it was the exact same storage and she told me yes only to find out that it was not and the hoops we had to go through to get the correct phone sent to us was insane. If you need someone that is knowledgeable to complete any business at T-Mobile, I would suggest not going to the one in Manahawkin.
