My apple email wasn't getting mail by an employee & I asked for info & was told a boldfaced lie that it was no longer in service & the same thing had happened to him several months ago. I wd just have to use Google email. This answer did not smell right and with the investigation I should have done first, I fixed the apple email. Seniors may be slow but we're not idiots. He blew me off and once again proved Verizon customer service is all over the place but usually completely unhelpful. read more

Chris was our sales rep. He did a good job, he was knowledgeable and efficient. We were in and out quicker than we've ever been, when buying a new phone. Esther a salesperson in the Emporia store sold me two iPhone upgrades end of last year(2021), with me trading in 2 iPhones and I still can't get her or her company to give me the discounts she promised. She has ghosted my calls, emails and txt messages for 8 months. The entire company seems fraudulent and shady. I would not recommend anyone doing business with them. I would go directly to Verizon or Apple to buy phones. Her manager Todd has been very nice but has gotten no where is resolving the problem. read more

Internet and phone businesses from Europe do not scam customers as much compared to American businesses. Verizon is proof of that. Verizon screws over customers by giving them inconsistent charges on their bank accounts, horrible customer support service, and broken promises. AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, Consumer Cellular, and other businesses screw over customers like Verizon does. All of these phone companies make it ridiculously hard for people to have reliable phone signal in America. All of these internet companies make it ridiculously hard for people to have consistently high quality downloading speed in America. Purchased an LG G5 from this store. From day one people could not here me as it was fragmented when I talked into the phone. Work full days, and do not live in Kansas. Live in MN where no Cellular Sales stores are located. First day off to take care of it, and must be returned with in 14 days. 14 days and 5 hours is 5 hours too late. I would say that is not customer care, or service. Each store decides return policy, and they stand firm. read more

I've been with Verizon for 17 years, but this store made me want to switch. I brought in a phone that I bought from a third party. It wasn't a Verizon phone, but the 800 number told be it could be added anyway. The guy at this store first told us it was no good. Locked up. I went home and got it unlocked and brought it back. He then told me it still wouldn't connect. I call verizon back again and they told me it would connect, but had to be done properly. They put directions on my account to help the store guy do it. We came back and told him what verizon said. He refused to try to connect the phone and refused to call technical service for help. I decided to deal directly with Verizon over the phone. I have to wait now for the proper sim card (the store didn't have the right card!) and to have the phone added to the network database. I guess these guys don't understand the concept of repeat customers. If they had helped me, I may have purchased a new phone from them in a year or two. As it is, I would rather drive to Kansas City than travel the 4 blocks back to that store. Some people just don't get it. read more

The people in the store are nice and try to help.. but we switched from sprint to verizon. From the start we have had troubles but were locked into contracts now nothing we can do it about it. We were never paid for a phone we turned in... Some how our account got its upgrades taken we still havnt figured that one out... we were told we could turn our phones in and upgrade in a year that did not happen we had to pay our phones off and start over. Just receintly added a phone and a tablet.. got home and the case for the tablet i was sold did not fit the tablet. It falls out.. opened the tablet and it was not set up... so okay that can happen.. we did alot of things that day call customer service... to get the tablet fixed right.. ohh and Verizon corp. Deleted the girl that set us up's paperwork and redid everything causing her to be charged for the tablet like she never sold it to me.. i had to take a second trip to the store to fix everything so the girl would get some kind of credit for selling it to me.. which was not what she should have gotten she took a loss.. had i not gone to that store that day .. they were gonna charge her for my tablet like she stole it! It was a glitch in their system that caused the problem to begin with! Nothing but problems! the reason they get two stars is the people are very nice and do try to be helpful most of the problems incurred have been from their systems not working properly mostly on the corporate side read more

I was having an issue with batter life on my G2 phone and when I called to see if they carried new batteries for this phone, the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful. He took the time to explain to me that I couldn't buy a replacement battery and what I could do to extend the battery life on my phone. He could've told me that I was out of luck and try to sell me something else, but he didn't. I appreciate the personal service. read more

This place is kind of a joke. They talk you out of buying new phones because they want to sell you their old phones. They charge you to switch your information over to your "new" phone. They try to get you to leave your "junk" phone with them so they can "dispose" of it, aka: sell it for 100% profit for themselves. I'm honestly surprised this store has stayed open this long. I mean, what kind of VERIZON STORE does not accept VERIZON GIFT CARDS! I'll be doing all of my business online or out of town from now on. I'd rather pay for the gas than to be nickel and dimed. "Hey, I know you really want that new Note that just came out but you're going to be paying like 800 bucks for it. So, instead, how about I sell you this sweet Stellar for 200. Its only a couple years old. Decent condition....No? Ok then go buy one online and then come back. We will get your info switched over for a low fee of $10. And hey! I have a case for you so you can buy that from me, too, considering we have no cases in the store." Thanks but no thanks. read more
