While I was in town... I had time and decided to upgrade my phone. I was greeted by Hunter. He explained the promos and the total breakdown on my future bills. So I had a lingering issue on my phone and I loved how the entire store all did there best to help me. In fact my issue wasn't resolved in fact I was there after hours at no time did anyone rush me or try to dismiss my issues with my phone. In fact I said I'll come back the next day.. if the problem isn't resolved. Next day, and long story short both Hunter and Jay resolved my issue. My faith in Verizon is restored. I'll definitely recommend this location to my Denver friends and Fam. 5 stars . You guys rock! read more

I will pay this that time bill, but I'm sure there will be another last time bill even tho I will have not had service with them for going on 6 months. Giving 3 stars because the service was great - especially since I walked in with a sort of emergency to get a new phone. The guy was super patient and helpful with me. Deducted 2 stars because I stated numerous times that I was NOT interested in any Disney+ or internet or any accessories. I know they "have to ask" but I also wasn't disclosed that they'd be changing actual phone plan. Nobody ever told me that nor did I ask for it. I simply wanted a new phone on my existing plan. When I called a week later after getting a bill, they said "oh we upgraded your plan too!". My bill went from $125 to $185. Not cool. read more

In person services at the store at 44th and Sheridan: top notch. Ashton Thomas was thorough, accurate, friendly, and not into maximizing his commission. He just helped us with what we needed; one new phone and service upgrade on two lines. Online customer service is rudimentary, now that it has (recently, I think) been handed off to a (not particularly intelligent) AI bot. Verizon decision makers, listen: your online help for simple questions and problems is fine, it works well and is easy to use if I need to pay my bill or check my usage or find out when my billing cycle ends. So, if I need to talk to a person, you can bet I have tried the AI chat and the AI voice thing, and STILL NEED HELP. Getting to a person is a loooong road. The first menu I found where I could get human help informed me it would cost me $10 if I asked the human for help. BS, I thought. After phrasing my question three different ways and getting the same AI response telling me to go to the website, where I had already been, I was not gonna roll over to pay for customer service. I finally got to a menu where I could make an appointment for someone to call me. I needed help reversing a large international call charge that I had been assured, in a chat a week prior, would not be on my bill. It was. Once Verizon AI called back, as scheduled, and put an actual human on the line, who did NOT charge $10 to forward me to what she called an expert customer service rep, I got the help I needed quickly and with a great deal of friendliness and courtesy. Upshot: 20 minutes of my afternoon noodling around with AI, fifteen minutes awaiting a call back, then maybe 15 minutes waiting on hold for the first human to consult her supervisor a few times, then, once I got to the "expert," excellent service and actual, demonstrated expertise. AI is a cheap employee, but this customer would be happier if Verizon employed a few more experts so human help was a bit easier to get to. read more

Setting up my new phone after switching accounts as well as at home 5G intermet (vs. coxial). Verizon is offering free iPhone 15 with conversion, plus your choice of an iPad or Xbox, and up to $500 reimbursement for cancellation. Noah works at this location and he was great! Even brought me water as we worked through the transition , which cost me $30, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. Hoping this will be a great new service for me in 2024! read more

I would highly recommend the 16th street location for excellent customer service! Noah was the representative that helped me handle reinstating a phone number from my late father's estate. He had to verify my information and then called customer service and basically handled the entire transaction for me. His helpfulness and patience are invaluable in today's 'customer service' world! I was a faithful Verizon customer for over 10 years. But they completely failed in providing me service for my visit to Europe last year. Phone and texting would not work and I could not get the issue resolved. Moreover, when I returned I had a huge bill waiting for me. I finally decided to switch to another carrier. I decided, against my better judgment to pay the outrageous bill. Then they sent a letter to me saying my check was destroyed, that they wouldn't accept personal checks and my balance was still outstanding. This issue is still not resolved months later. To preserve your sanity, do not start or switch to Verizon! read more

ALL STAFF ON PHONE AND IN STORE ARE WORTHLESS HUMANS WHO LIE JUST TO GET RID OF YOU!!!! I have been trying to obtain a receipt from Verizon since July 4, 2023. I have been calling Verizon since then, and every person I have spoken to said, "We will mail you a receipt of the proof of purchase of your watch." IT IS NOW October 2, 2024, and I have still yet to receive the receipt that was promised to me by 4 different people at your company. When I have gone in person, one of the people said, we are not associated with Verizon when there was a visible sign inside the store that said Verizon wireless and they couldn't help me either. On another visit to Verizon, the associate walked away after I said you people! ! I could have called you assholes like you people really are!!!! read more

They don't know what they're doing. I was visiting from out of town when my phone was stolen. I went to the verizon store the next day to see what my options were. I had asked if my insurance would cover anything, with the employee stating that my insurance would only cover with the purchase of a new iphone. 4 months later, I come to find out that my phone was covered under insurance for theft, and could have left the verizon store paying next to nothing. Thanks to the employee who screwed me over and left me paying a $120 monthly phone bill! read more

Disaster. Nightmare Contract fraud. Verizon not the company of 20 yrs ago. Saw Verizon ad on my phone offering free cell phone. Went into Verizon store. Was told the terms. Agreed to port business phone under terms verbally offered. Free phone, $600 credit for existing phone for high, 790+ credit former customers returning. Sounded reasonable. Verbal deal, didn't sign a contract. Store agent asked to see my spouses phone. Told us we could peruse the store, would take 10 minutes to set up new phone. we came back , handed us the new free I phone 14 pro , gave box to send in old phone for $600 credit. Verizon rep said no contract needed based upon credit score, our Verizon acct history. 3 days later things bills weren't right. Looked into account, nothing was right. Plan was double priced, no free phone, I supposedly had signed multiple contracts, then signed to be personally liable for corporate bills. Called customer service. Rep said we had signed all these contracts. Rep tried to get us to accept the contracts if they gave us 60 days free, which would have validated the contract. Refused. Ends up the sales rep used my spouses phone to email contracts to spouses phone and the Verizon sales rep agreed to all these contracts, on spouses phone, pretending to be us. Whole thing was massive contract fraud. It took 60 days and hundreds of hours on the phone to get this fraudulent Verizon contracts terminated. Verizon refused to terminate the contracts, port the phone back because the massive charges of long contract only their Verizon employee agreed to, not us, was fully paid off. Verizon violated FCC legal terms repeatedly. Verizon only capitulated after a formal FCC complaint hit their desk. Went to Pure Talk, Bliss, totally happy. honest, great cust svs. Pure Talk is everything wonderful that Verizon was 20 yrs ago. All of this laid out in FCC complaint. read more

A company ran and operated by thieves. I will be switching to a new provider after 7 years, I have had this device for four years and wanted an upgrade. I Show up to get my upgrade and they tell me my 1,300 dollar phone won't be honored as anything because I want to pay my new phone off completely. They claim because I want to pay off my phone immediately I cannot use my credit towards the Apple Watch I wanted to buy. Then this I'm assuming a noob is trying to switch the whole deal and says I have to wait a month to let me do exactly what I'm trying to accomplish In the first place. My iphone was in mint condition that had the screen go blank one night watching Netflix. I go in there looking for help and they tried to tell me I had to contact "Asurion." Of course Asurion's services are down all day and when I finally get ahold of them, they assess my phone through photo and video and they say "oh no this is a manufacturing defect, this is a Verizon issue." So they transferred me to Verizon technical support and it was all figured out; free replacement. Long story short, this location, didn't want to be tagged for a manufacturing defect on their store metrics so they told me I had to contact Asurion knowing I would have to pay a $99 deductible despite my $17 a month Verizon mobile insurance plan saying otherwise. The exact same issue was happening to another kid at the store. I heard them say to the kid " oh well we could always just upgrade your phone instead" I do not blame this on the store workers but more on company culture and how they have been trained. read more

Now, you are like a car salesman, sneaking little charges here, little charges here, not giving me anything in writing... I feel conned and scammed! At the end, I did this thing called math, addition to be specific, and realized her "awesome deal" was going to cost $150 more than the one I had. She said "Yes, but you do not have to pay it TODAY..." Oh what a great deal! I can pay $150 more for the same thing over two years! This Verizon store was SIGNIFICANTLY lacking in customer service. My husband and I arrived and none of the 3 representatives spoke to or even acknowledged us. We waited about 15 minutes before a woman finally came out from the back to check on us and make sure we checked in. We were very obviously looking for someone to help us. The gentleman working at the counter was helping a customer but didn't bother looking up to let us know someone would be over to help us. If you can avoid coming here I would recommend it. I thought it was my software that was malfunctioned or something, because I upgraded from an 8 to a 14. My Apple Pay would not work, Landon assisted me and the first two options we tried DID NOT WORK. However; he took his time with assisting me with my issue that actually LOTS of people have! Worst experience with any business ever! They will LIE to you. I promise. Sales Consultant Elias Foreman told me I would get $450 for trading in my phone. I then shipped my phone to Verizon like Elias told me to and received an email from Verizon saying they received a different phone than expected and that my phone is only worth $90. Elias never said my phone would be re-evaluated once they received it. He had my phone in his hands for 10 minutes while we completed the transaction and knew the exact condition of that phone. Classic bait & switch. Now it's my word vs his since this was all done digitally and his Mgr Jeremiah Martin refuses to believe that Elias would not inform me of all the possible outcomes. The Mgr Jeremiah did nothing but continuously blame me, the customer, a defend his sales consultant. His exact words were "I can't imagine Elias (sales consultant) would not tell you about this. I've know him for years". So because he "can't imagine", I'm getting screwed for $360 and Elias is unwilling to admit this is entirely his fault. This will be reported to the BBB. iPhone XS + Verizon = slowest phone I've ever owned. Don't believe the false reports that Verizon is the best network. Apps take forever to open if they open at all. I plan to switch back to ATT or anyone else. read more

My wife just got back from this store, and was treated extremely rudely by a young 20 something woman. The woman tried to talk her out of the iPhone she wanted because she wanted to sell a more expensive phone, and tried to talk her into paying over time rather than paying cash. The salesgirl told her she should just go to Apple to get her phone. So we will. If you don't want our business, fine. I never write reviews, but Verizon's online application process to switch from Sprint was a nightmare and the customer support over the telephone was nonsensical and maddeningly unhelpful in explaining the process or making any sense or progress whatsoever. Three times I filed applications and three times I provided the additional information they requested and three times they did not respond. The customer support person said he had my application but could not see it. Why would anyone join a company with such a horrible process for new customers considering a switch? I asked two different employees to speak to the manager. They would go talk with him and come back, share that there wasn't anything they could do and that he was doing inventory. The first time I went in here to upgrade my phone, I wanted the iPhone 7. The iPhone 8 had just come out and when I told Erika I wanted the 7, she pushed really hard for the 8, telling me the 7 wasn't good, pulling out the stops to upsell me on the 8. I went with the 8 and experienced a lot of problems with it. Fast forward to today when I wanted to upgrade to the 11; I handed her my phone and told her my case is difficult to get off (Casemate), she proceeds to rip off part of my case to get the hard shell off, without explaining to me beforehand what she was doing. She is always condescending, tries to make me feel like I'm an idiot, seems annoyed to be there and I was bummed when I walked in and saw her approach me. I've been trying to break up with AT&T for years now. But i always get promises of they "being better", more attentive, providing better service and so i've stayed. When the new iPhone 5 came out and spotty service became non-existent service. ala sitting in my office which i've say in for years and having my phone say no-service... Or not moving an inch and having my calls drop. Not excellent for my job... I decided to make the move. We have been into this store a couple times. Hubby got an iPad with connectivity thru them, and we have ordered 2 iPhone 5's thru them and i can not wait to get them and drop kick my old love to the curb! Staff is always super friendly, they go out of their way to try and set things up, work around limitations and just make the experience great! read more
