When we got there, Daniel greeted us, and we did both the assessment and planning appointments ( he had us waiting 10 minutes past our appointment time for the planning appointment) with him. We later found out that it wasn't $300-$400 a month for 4 hours a week, but rather $360 a month for 12 months, covering 96 hours, and they run a hard credit check. This means she would be getting 6 months of tutoring for basically $360 bi-weekly, which felt misleading. I'd rather go to a tutoring place that doesn't do a hard credit check and is upfront with their prices. Additionally, Daniel was rude when I tried to discuss my daughter's needs; he would cut me off and talk about himself not even addressing or acknowledging what I just mentioned about my daughter.

Our Lead instructor is very knowledgeable and patient. She makes it easy to come to her with issues. She really has a nack for teaching. We have another new teacher as well. She seems very knowledgeable and passionate about what she is teaching us. We are getting frustrated as she over teaches us and is a very direct (to some it may seem rude). She possesses a wealth of knowledge. We also acquired two new teachers aides. They are close to our age range and they are very helpful. They are patient and understand that we are new to learning. They are very calm and even keeled, which helps a lot when students are stressed out. Why I did not give more stars? For me, personally, I don't like that not everyone starts in sequence 1. Our class was lucky that we did. However, not knowing everything and having to start in Sequence 2 or 3 is very difficult. I also was hoping that each time a new group of classmates joins us...that they would teach infection control right away. Overall, if you chose Pima Medical Institute, you will get a great education with instructors who love to teach. You will have the ability to obtain a great career and further your goals in life.

I enrolled him in 2: one for math tutoring and the other for a robotics building camp with Mindstorms Lego kits. It was expensive. It was mediocre and average in the math tutoring. The robot camp is a complete fiasco and I encourage you to not enroll or attend. I was told when registering him that there was only one space left. Obviously, myself and the 20 other mothers who were paying the exorbitant price were all told the same thing. It's a large room full of old computers and a few Mindstorm Lego kits with one supervising adult managing the room of 20 boys. For the price I paid for the camps I could have bought 2 of the kits and kept him at home. My son was bullied and there was no supervision for him to talk with and take the situation too. I have dropped in at times other than the pick up to assess the situation and witnessed a room full of kids with NO adult or teacher. Perhaps the other programs during the school year or one on one sessions are different-I did not have any experience with those. My family experienced the summer camps being held at the Grand Canyon Prep charter school which is a mile away from the address for the business. Our experience is bad, I would not go back, I would like to rate this experience somewhere around -100 on the richter scale and encourage other moms to seek out summer camps elsewhere for their child's safety.
