Staff was awesome and super patient. The space was clean and aesthetically pleasing. Salad options were great, loved the variety of sweet options or more savory. Love the drink selection - a lot more healthy options than most other shops. Great healthy on the go option!

I love verde. Such a nice place to get a quick, healthy bite to eat. My favorite thing to get is the farmers market salad with shrimp or tofu. The dressing is perfect and the shrimp is my favorite. 10/10 everytime.

Brand new location! Great service and fresh quality produce. verde has a wonderful selection of signature creation salads! Will be a go to when I'm downtown needing a salad! Great portion size also!

I'm here for the lemon tahini dressing. Seriously, Verde has a limited menu at my work place and I get salads there often. But the stand alone stores like this one on King St have a larger selection of ingredients and dressings- like the lemon tahini. Walk all. The way through the restaurant to get to the start of the line and tell the staff what you want in you salad or rice bowl. I do sort of a hybrid- greens with quinoa and rice- topped with tomatoes black beans, cucumbers and broccoli. bTW the broccoli is crunchy but not raw- it's the perfect texture for a salad/rice bowl. Top it off with the lemon tahini dressing- delicious!

Got my greens on at Verde. 8/5 stars highly recommend. Staff was super nice at King Street location and went above and beyond. Food was delicious and had room for leftovers. We had Of Rice and Men and the Greek Knees and both were delicious. Will definitely order again. The Owls Brew Boozy Tea was super tasty. Hands down loved the Chocolate Chip Sea Salt cookies. They were moist and were fantastic! Again had such a pleasant experience and can't wait to come back or do Uber Eats delivery. #Bergerknowsbest @eatatverde @yelpcharleston

Vegan chili

Come on Verde this is ridiculous! Paid $6.95 for the vegan chili and this is what I get. Could you have at least filled it HALF way up...Lol.

I usually don't have an issue ordering from the downtown Charleston storefront and they'll usually fill up my to go container to the brim; however, today I tried ordering delivery and it came 25% empty! Why have a container that big if you don't fill it up all the way? This is the first time I've experienced this type of inconsistency with the salads and it's very disappointing to see that the quality of delivery is not on par with their usual ser Update - I ordered delivery again and the team definitely made sure this time my order was right and full to the brim. Thank you Verde!

The Bowled Buddha.

I ordered The Bowled Buddha and a couple of different dressings to try. Recommend the lemon tahini. Loved the sweet potatoes best. Generous-enough for two meals. Healthy but not boring!

Super fast, fresh, and friendly. A perfect spot to have a cool salad and some mint green tea on a hot and humid day. I was greeted as soon as I entered. Not rushed to order since the menu is pretty expansive. It's salad, right? Who knew!? Had a seasonal salad called "Backyard BBQ". Romaine lettuce, corn, plum tomatoes, bacon, pickled jalapeños, with a BBQ vinaigrette. I added black beans. You can ad about 50 other items of choice. Super good. Next time I'll mix the peppers though. They got a little overwhelming after a while. But still awesome!

Although some dishes are seasonal, these happen to be entrees that are served year-round according to our server Both were quite delicious. The vegetarian plate had a wide variety of veggies -- from mashed potatoes, to wilted spinach, asparagus, green beans, and fried tomato's. There were only two medium pieces of fried tomato so I do wish they put more in the plate but oh well. My partner loved his bouillabaisse and apparently it's the southern rendition of a French dish that is one of their most popular dishes. It has lots of seafood in it. The meal also came with complimentary warm bread, which was nice. The pecan pie was very good, but the crust was kind of hard and there were fewer pecans than I'm used to and more caramel. The ambiance is more formal but people were dressed mostly casual (and chic if I might add). Dim lighting and if you don't want as much noise to carry I would ask for seating in the back because it's noticeably louder in the front. Overall the food is very good and prices are not as expensive for the quality. Our server was great!

When we visited on a weekday evening, we were seated quickly with no wait! We started with the corn ribs, which were honestly one of the BEST appetizers we've ever had! They had the texture and flavor of ribs but were made from corn and served with an incredible chipotle dipping sauce that brought everything together perfectly! For our main dish, we ordered the spinach and feta pita, which was warm, gooey, and packed with flavor. The pita was stuffed with spinach and feta, making it rich and comforting--almost like a warm hug. It also came with a fresh side salad that was tangy and refreshing, which balanced the richness of the pita really well! I do wish that the pita was a bit more flavorful on the inside, not just the outside. My husband also ordered an Old Fashioned and said it was excellent. Overall, the food felt incredibly fresh and thoughtfully prepared. If you're looking for a cozy spot in Charleston with fresh ingredients and great flavors, this place is definitely worth visiting!
