Came here at 12:30 PM since they open at 12 and apparently that means "the doors are unlocked" not "the club is actually open." Stayed until 3:30 and saw more interaction between the staff and the regulars than actual entertainment. No dancers on stage the entire time. The bartender was hanging with the regulars, the dancers were hanging with the regulars, and some of the dancers looked more interested in the kitchen staff than the customers. Honestly the drinks were the best part because they were actually reasonably priced. I came in ready to spend money and tip, but it felt more like I accidentally walked into someone's weird coworkers-only lunch break than a strip club. Ended up leaving a tip for the bartender and that was about it. I usually go during the day because I don't feel like dealing with the nighttime WWE crowd and people acting like they've never seen a woman before. But if you're actually coming for the "entertainment," don't even bother showing up until it's dark outside. Just understand once the sun goes down, so does the quality of the crowd. This is probably one of the most underrated spots to hang out at in the OC area to begin with. Everything costs reasonable. $20 to get in or free for the most part, $20 buffets, $20 for one lap dance, $8 for desserts and $7 for lap dances. Also people were having a good time, customers were having a good time talking with the dancers, the dancers were having fun communicating with the girls, and the girls were extremely friendly too. I had one dancer come up to me who was very short and petite in size, but in her 20s, but she was very appealing in the way she communicated and she had girlfriend material vibes too! I have been to your place a lot and have heard multiple times people taking 30 minutes (on slow nights) to get a drink and several came back after 30 minutes with no drink and angry. You are in the business to make money and no will customer should ever be thirsty,if they are willing to give you their hard earned money in exchange. Unfortunately you don't have a POS system. If you did, here's how you fix the problem. INSPECT WHAT YOU EXPECT. For two months, the Bartender with the lowest sales is let go. And continue to do that. It's counterintuitive, but When the place is full of customers and the line is backed up at the bar many of those customers are sitting at tables and playing pool. Having someone work the floor and take orders relieves bar pressure. I went a couple times before and had a good experience with a Russian dancer and then went back and found out she's no longer working there and was released because she had to defend herself against customers that tried to abuse her when security wasn't doing there job according to other dancers. The owner is verbally abusive towards the dancers and treats them terribly from what I've seen because she's drunk which is very clear by the way she acts and it's sad to see a place ran this way. Not too mention it's overly hot inside this place and smells terrible many times I've gone. Love coming to the bar, about once every week if not every other week. The bartenders are awesome along with all the beautiful girls walking around. What really gets me is they charge ten bucks at the door, no big deal. However, women should be free especially if they are coming with their significant other. Actually, I wouldn't mind paying the ten buck is the girls would actually DANCE on the pole. This is more like a lap dance bar due to there is not rotation schedule. The drinks are ok on price, the food is ok, but the kicker here are the strippers and the bar tenders. The dancers are not the best looking so dont get your hopes up. The bar tenders are rude. I order from desiree and lesli. Both are rude and expect a big tip. Desiree is cute but very rude. Leslie is fun and will talk but does not know how to make drinks. I've got a bunch of friends hooked on the delicious wings here, so we make an effort to get together and come out two or three times a month. Lately the girls appear to be more well behaved, and are of course more beautiful than ever. The Wednesday bar food menu -- phenomenal! These wings... I seriously can't believe it. They are so good! For some reason they taste best when they are ordered "plain" and dipped in ranch or buffalo sauce. (Avoid the blue cheese, however.) You could tell me today that these buffalo chicken wings are actually rat meat and I'd still be there tomorrow to scarf down that delicious rat meat. Came with a bunch of friends who always go...... didn't get carded, didn't get searched, no door guy, didn't see much pole dancing and the lap dances were on like random chairs thrown in the corner. The "manager" or whatever he was was a total creep and was all over the girls. Food was great! Drinks were good, bartenders were somewhat nice. "Dancers" were just sitting with certain customers the entire night. It was a weird strip club. It was packed and the part where they don't search anyone makes me nervous especially when you see a customer that had a gun clipped to their side. Well i didnt know if i wanted to try food at a strip club but i saw a salad someone was eating and it looked good, so why nit give a shot. I ordered a chinese chicken salad and when i got my food it was a caesar salad i told the waitress and she argued with me that she swore it was a chinese chicken salad.. I knew it wasnt but i ate the caesar it was great. After i told her it was wrong and she decided to ignore and just help my friends that were there. So i told her at the end of the night please have the cook try this and tell me what it is. He said it was caesar and she apologized for him but not for her being rude, Chinese chicken salad with croutons, cheese, and white dressing, how stupid can you be.. Venus Lounge has been my favorite place to eat, drink, watch my favorite sports channels, and enjoy a decent conversations with the bartenders. I usually visit during the day shift. The food is great! I love coming in Sunday football for some awesome breakfast and now they serve Vietnamese Pho soup. It's been 14 yrs since I've been coming here and it's nice to have a bar you go to and the bartenders know what you drink. So I came here with some friends to watch the USC loss to Stanford. Well overall we had a great time, it just wasnt our teams night. None the less we had a good time. Primarily because it was one of my friends birthday. Since we ended up having a bunch to drink (countless pitchers it seems $7.75 domestic crap or $9.75 for imports or good domestics) we kinda lost track. They had a bunch of good options as well, primarily the usual suspects. Pro Tip: $20 minimum for a cred card charge for grub or booze, but there is an ATM on site. I ended up ordering the fried shrimp basket. It came with fries. It was quite tasty. However it was a bunch of mini shrimps, but that actually fit in perfectly for watching the game. The fries were standard crinkle-cut (not something you find very often these days). Pro Tip #2: There is a separate portion of the bar considered the "sportslounge" which is separate from the "adult entertainment" portion. The sportslounge portion of the bar has about 9 or 10 TVs in it as well as a partial bar. There are also a couple of pool tables in this area as well. Overall some of the waitresses/dancers were very helpful fun and entertaining. And some were not. They only have two waitress and it takes forever for them to serve drinks to customers who are waiting more than 30 minutes to order their drinks and food. You and the dancer have to wear a mask while the dancer dance on you PG-13. There's no fun in it! The songs last for 2-3 mins. So the prices of the lapdances depends on the dancer cause each dancer have a different price for their lapdances! There's no dancer constantly dancing on stage and you would get here and there! If you want to tip the dancer, you would have to go inside to tip the dancer on stage. But you can't get drinks or hang around inside the building cause is off limit! You would have to wait for the waitress to come to you which takes forever so you would have to flag them down! I would avoid this place at all cost! It's decieving in that it actually has alot more space on the inside than you would assume on the outside but I'll get back to that. I noticed there were a couple of games of pool going on behind me and that there was a whole other section towards the back. I was trying to figure out if this is where they gave private dances because, well - it didn't look too private if I could see if from the bar stool that I was sitting on. I also noticed that there seemed to be an extra bar down that area - though I could just be conjuring this up on my own equivalent to the mirage of water in the hot desert. I finished my beer and proceeded to leave. I won't say that I left disappointed because I really didn't have any expectations when I came in.
