We stopped by around 11pm after dinner and the place was still quite lively. Service is prompt, just make sure you know what you're ordering! We tried tarta de la abuela and crema tostada, both fantastic and local flavors.
Tarta de la abuela has that perfect mix of cookies, chocolate but also a nice touch of rich pine nuts
Crema tostada is like a hug-- some liken it to crème brûlée, but in custardy ice cream form.
You really can't go wrong with any of the flavors. Aside from ice cream, they also make fresh horchata which in Spain is made with chufas, or tiger nuts. They have a more earthy flavor than that of the Mexican horchata made with almonds/rice, but I liked it!
This is the quintessential summer dessert spot ^_^
