Nope, nope, nope. This place is staffed by mighty nice Southern people, but seriously -- you're going to pay thousands of dollars up front for the privilege of spending thousands more on travel you probably won't do? Use your common sense. We were given the example of a "customer" being quoted $17,000 for a fancy cruise, but these guys were able to get it for $10,000 and change. I did the math, and the $10,000 they quoted, plus the $6995 for the membership (payaple the day you hear their spiel BTW), plus the $399 "doc fee," plus the $199 dues, and guess what that cruise costs? Yep, $17,000+. Maybe you'll use them for another trip, and that'd drop the overall expense, but you'd have to travel a LOT to offset that $6995. Don't even waste your time with these guys. Yes, they'll give you free tickets for the Charleston bus tour, but it really isn't that great. They also promised to pay for our parking in the garage behind their office, but oops-- they didn't. There's $20 down the drain. Save that precious time on your vacation and skip the whole experience with these guys. Like timeshares, this isn't as good a deal as they make it out to be. read more

Interesting business model. Here's the down and dirty: The 'pitch' to get prospective buyers in the door was the company's 'anniversary' and them giving out special gifts. Promised? A voucher for ANY type of carriage or bus tour, a voucher for a second tour, and a voucher for $75 to be used at any - ANY restaurant. The guy pitching put all emphasis on what we might do, where we might go, very little about the last little bit - we needed to return next AM, hear a talk, to receive our gifts. This was so fast, so slick, that while my partner was in the bathroom (which was why we stopped in), I didn't realize this would be a sales pitch. Needed to leave $20 which we could pick up next day. Talk would take ~ 50 minutes. Okay, game for that. At minimum, we could just pick up the $20 and go our way. My partner used to do this type thing, so we knew it was about sitting through a sales pitch & getting some stuff. $75 voucher for a meal? Okay. Plus entertainment value, if the presentation was good. Ugh! Very stiff, tired, memorized presentation. Jokes? Really? If you need to say 'that was a joke', it isn't. Weird interjections, promises, and a great 'membership' for...wait for it - $6000. No need to to into details, we escaped after the 1hour 15 minute pitch. Gifts? A $75 check from Bank of America Acct, 2 vouchers, as promised. The 'tour' voucher was good for 1 company, and one only. Not a carriage tour, but a bus. Not from the Market, as promised, where all the horse drawn carriage tours depart, but a company several blocks away, bus only. Since the Better Biz Bureau gives them a 'F' rating (read the complaints), we figured better cash that check ASAP. $8 bank fee at BOA if you don't have Acct or credit card. We did, another couple did not. So, we got the 'gifts', but without calling the other carriage companies to see if they took the voucher, we would have been turned away, believing it was good for any - as promised. So, go for the gifts if you don't mind using 1.5 hours of vacation time, and don't sign anything. Check out BBB reviews, and check the other Yelp reviews- that are from folks who either work there or are related. Those reviewers? That don't review anything else! Interesting. YMMV. read more

My wife and I have been members for a while with this company. Just thought if you were a new member, this post might be helpful. We have booked a couple of things (at least 3 hotel rooms) and a Carnival cruise to the Eastern Caribbean this last fall. The agents are great and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this membership to anyone who travels. We are a working couple, we don't get to travel a ton, but we bought this membership to allow us to travel more at a cheaper price. If it sounds to good to be true . . . Sophisticated sales pitch offering the largest number of bookings on the Princess Cruise Lines. The sales presentation even showed an award from Princess Cruise LInes made of crystal and chrome or silver. Deep discounts on timeshares and condos along with a rebate of 20% of your travel costs. If it sounds too good to be true, you are correct. Vendue Travel signs you up with Vacation Inspirations and then charges you charge card to a merchant named Destination Travel. Check the internet for the reviews. Oh, from what I have experienced, the salespeople will show you great BBB reviews on their iPads. Take the time to research the companies. Look at BBB complaints. Search the company names and affiliated companies in a Google search, then make your decision. Try Expedia, Orbitz or other major travel companies if you are looking for the best prices. read more

Do not use this company! Run as fast as you can. They draw you in with free offers of tickets for attraction rides and venues while you are visiting Charleston. Don't fall for it!!! We learnt the hard way. They take your money and give you this long speech/presentation that they can save you hundred of dollars. They are no cheaper than Kayak or Expedia. They are just taking a membership of thousands and then do not provide the customer service they promise and their prices are nothing like what they describe in their presentation. In fact their customer service is one of the worst I have experienced. Research them thoroughly. They have been reported to the BBB and the SC Department of Consumer Affairs and the Attorney General Office. Run when they approach you. read more

My wife and I recently went to Charleston SC and spent quite a bit of money with this company on our membership. Im not gonna lie, I was a little apprehensive and had a touch of buyers remorse until I booked my first trip! I don't hand out compliments easily, but this company does it right! I wish I would've had this membership 20 years ago. On my very first booking I saved well over $3500 on a Viking River Cruise for my wife and I. I have already seen huge savings with this membership. The service is unbelievable. It is exactly what they say it is. If you are thinking about joining, just do it! read more

False advertising all the way. Typical timeshare type of selling, providing no real detail until you give them your time. Their promises of 50% off is misleading, as they use averages with no solid evidence. They only promise 20% which is not much for having to pay $9k up front. Whomever buys this and thinks there is value is misleaded and did not do a very good job of selection to begin with. read more
