Entertainment was just a one man band but entertained us all night with music, singing and definitely gets you involved. By far the best had to be the family that runs it and lives there they eat with you and it NEVER felt like a restaurant it was just country and it was beautiful. I'd do it again and recommend to anyone. The reviews that have anything negative to say forgot what they were signing up for it's outdoors rustic and down home. That's it. We left from steamboat Safeway they picked us up nice bus and took us out there get right on sleigh and head to cabin nice and toasty there eat get entertained and go back in sleigh to where the bus is and they take u back. Now, I'm not gonna lie, for a family of five it was pricey. But, I have to say it was TOTALLY WORTH IT! Chris and his crew provided a once in a lifetime experience for us. They picked us up where we were staying and drove us an hour out to the edge of the national forest for our adventure! The staff was really friendly and you could tell they really cared for their dogs. They were family to them. After a quick crash course( no pun intended) on driving the sled and meeting the dogs, off we went! We had two sleds and the escorted us on snowmobiles, but didn't interfere with our experience at all. They gave a few pointers throughout the run, but let us enjoy it completely. We had two stops on the way in and two stops on the way out. This allowed them to evaluate the dogs, take pictures and make sure we were doing well and switch drivers. All the dogs wanted to do was run! Made me tired just watching them. All in all it was an absolutely gorgeous trip. We did 8-9 miles through the forest, along the Elk River with snow covered trees surrounding us. The slower pace allowed us to really enjoy the beauty of Gods creation. And it started to lightly snow as we made our way in. The weather was perfect and the scenery picturesque! Once we got back to our starting point we were provided hot cocoa and apple cider and cookies. And then got to hang out with dogs! They were so lovable and so happy they got to do what they love. We all had our faves, which included Chewbaca, Phoebe, Snape and Toby. But, they were all awesome! Unfortunately, that was the end of the tour. But, we had the ride back to the hotel. Camille was friendly and drove safely in the ice and snow.

They also had free art magazines available in the library room in the back. The gift shop next door was small but nonetheless had a couple cute items for sale.
